Feel good and have a good rest. The Knapphof guesthouse is situated in a quiet and sunny location in Reit im Winkl, district Blindau. Whatever you would like to experience as a holidaymaker in summer or winter on a holiday in our beautiful nature, you will find it on our doorstep. Bavarian hospitality and a family atmosphere are very important to us. In our cosy farmhouse parlour with tiled stove warmth, a breakfast buffet with lovingly produced farm and regional products awaits you. In the lounge you will also find a kitchenette with a guest refrigerator. Enjoy sunny hours on our terrace or sunbathing lawn. Comfortably furnished rooms with shower/WC, TV, hairdryer and balcony await you. For our families there is a small children's playground at the house. Ski lifts, cross-country skiing trails, snow tubing, hiking trails and bicycle paths are close to the house. Visit our alpine hut on the Winklmoos-Alm. You can rent this as a holiday flat from 1 October to 25 May. It offers space for a maximum of 8 people and is purely self-catering. Your advantage as our guest: We are partner landlords/operators of the Reit im Winkl swimming card. This gives you the opportunity to receive further free services in addition to our own, such as free entry to the Reit im Winkl open-air swimming pool, the Kössen forest swimming pool and the lido pools at Walchsee. Environment description
Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title "climatic health resort" is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district.
