Welcome to the Alpine National Park Schönau am Königssee. Our two vacation apartments are quietly and yet centrally located in the climatic health resort in Schönau am Königssee at the foothills of the Watzmann and the Grünstein. Enjoy the magnificent view of the Berchtesgaden mountains. Short distances to all important facilities such as tourist information, bus stop, graduation house, open-air swimming pool, restaurants and shopping facilities make it easy to leave your car behind. In about five minutes by car you can reach the picturesque Königssee. During a crossing you can hear the famous echo and visit the pilgrimage church of St. Bartholomä. The Jenner is an ideal starting point for a hut tour as well as hikes over the Steinerne Meer. In winter, there is a cross-country skiing trail in the immediate vicinity that stretches across the entire municipal area, which you can easily reach on foot. The skiing area and the artificial ice rink are also in the immediate vicinity.

Arrival Description

By car:You drive from the A8 Munich direction Salzburg. Take the exit Bad Reichenhall. This is the last exit before the Austrian border. (VIGNETTENPFLICHT!) From Bad Reichenhall on the B20 follow the signs to Berchtesgaden.You will pass through the towns of Bad Reichenhall, Bayerisch Gmain, Hallthurm and Bischofswiesen and finally come to the large traffic circle at the Berchtesgaden train station.Take the Schönau exit and drive uphill on Oberschönauer Straße. Follow the Oberschönauer Straße. After some time you will reach an intersection. Keep left and follow the main road. Now follow Waldhauserstraße to the next intersection. Turn right here into Grünsteinstraße. Take the next street immediately to the left and you will find yourself in Fischmichlstraße.
