The family-run four-star feel-good hotel with its Bavarian atmosphere at 850 meters above sea level is the perfect place for your vacation in the middle of the Berchtesgaden mountains at any time of year. Our spacious restaurant with sun terrace and our well-equipped hotel bar invite you to enjoy and linger. We offer our hotel guests half board with a four-course gourmet menu to choose from with a rich salad buffet. With our indoor swimming pool, the spacious sauna area and our wide range of cosmetic and massage treatments, you can quickly forget your everyday stress in our house. In December 2020, 3 junior suites were renovated. Behind our hotel is a spacious garden landscape with Kneipp pool, trout pond and children's playground in the unspoiled nature. Parking spaces are sufficiently available. You can start directly from the hotel to many hikes and excursions. The stop of the ski bus to the ski area Rossfeld is and a small ski lift are within walking distance. Our hotel also impresses with its proximity to the Austrian border: in less than 20 minutes you can reach the cultural city of Salzburg by car.

Arrival Description

Freeway Munich - Salzburg until exit Bad Reichenhall. Take the B21 to Berchtesgaden and the B305. Continue in the direction of Salzburg until you reach the village of Unterau. Turn right on the B319 to Oberau. No matter from which direction you come, from the village Unterau you are on the road to Roßfeld. Drive through the village of Oberau and where the Roßfeldstraße makes a sharp right turn, drive straight ahead to the border crossing to Bad Dürrnberg. After a few hundred meters you will see the Hotel Neuhäusl on the left side.
