The Gästehaus Münchner Kindl welcomes you against the picturesque Chiemgau Alpendorf backdrop in the climatic health resort of Reit im Winkl, directly opposite the festival hall. The family-run guesthouse has seven cosy rooms, some with balconies, one suite and two modern, spacious wellness lofts. In the morning, a freshly prepared breakfast buffet is ready for you. The centre of Reit can be reached on foot in just five minutes from the accommodation. Bavarian and international cuisine, cafés and charming shops await your visit. The surrounding area offers ideal hiking and cycling opportunities. The large sun terrace invites you to linger in summer and winter. In winter, the cross-country ski trail starts directly opposite, at the foot of a magnificent sledding hill. The free shuttle bus takes skiing enthusiasts directly to the Seegatterl gondola lift. A heated ski boot room is available. After an active sports day, you can relax in the in-house steam shower and sauna. However, due to the current situation, the use of the same is not included in the price. There is an extra charge of EUR 10/person/use. Parking is available at the house. WLAN is of course available free of charge. We would like to point out that we are a non-smoking house. Your advantage as our guest: We are partner landlords/operators of the Reit im Winkl swimming card. This gives you the opportunity to receive further free or reduced services in addition to our own, such as free entry to the Reit im Winkl open-air swimming pool, the Kössen forest swimming pool and the lido pools at Walchsee. Luftkurort Reit im Winkl According to Wikipedia, the title "climatic health resort" is awarded to "localities whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather events.In addition to the natural conditions for good air, we actively take care with the natural warmth or ample bus offers that the good mountain air is preserved for us.

Arrival Description

Leave the A8 Munich-Salzburg motorway at the Bernau exit and turn left in the direction of Grassau - Marquartstein and from there continue in the direction of Reit im Winkl. You will find our guesthouse directly opposite the festival hall in Reit im Winkl.
