We welcome you in our vacation apartment on the 1st floor of our house in Schönau am Königssee, district Unterschönau. The quiet but central location is an ideal starting point for numerous mountain and hiking tours. All important supply, leisure and information facilities are within 10 to 15 minutes walking distance. You can enjoy the silence and the breathtaking mountain panorama right from the spacious south-east facing balcony loggia. The non-smoking apartment is lovingly furnished in country style and offers you everything to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible. You will find a bedroom with double bed equipment ( 1,80m x 2,00m ), a living room with couch set and dining area with corner bench set, cable TV available, separate kitchen with kitchenette, electric stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer, coffee maker, egg boiler, kettle, toaster. The location is an ideal starting point for many mountain and hiking tours in the Alps National Park. To the next bus stop, as well as to various shopping facilities and to an outdoor swimming pool it is only a 10 minute walk. The apartment is located on the 1st floor of our family house and has an extremely spacious loggia, which is fully equipped with corner bench, loungers and parasol. There you can enjoy the rising sun at breakfast and the afternoon sun for coffee to the fullest. Numerous hiking trails lead you directly from our house to the huts and alpine pastures of the surrounding mountains. In winter, you will find various cross-country ski trails, winter hiking trails and the Jenner ski area nearby. The center of Schönau am Königssee with Kneipp facility and brine bath can be reached easily on foot. You can experience varied leisure fun in Watzmann Therme or salt mine in Berchtesgaden.

You can experience varied leisure fun in the Watzmann Therme or the salt mine in Berchtesgaden.

Arrival Description
By car coming from the freeway A8, exit Bad Reichenhall (When continuing VIGNETTENPFLICHT!) out over the B 20 direction Berchtesgaden. Pass through the market town of Berchtesgaden in the direction of the train station. At the station square, take the traffic circle exit in the direction of Königssee. From there, take the turnoff to the right to Unterstein. Go through Unterstein, past the church, straight on until you reach the Schornbad open-air swimming pool. At the outdoor pool Schornbad turn right into the one-way street. Turn left there until the crossroads at the adventure playground, up towards Grünstein, always straight on. Take the last street on the left. The 2nd house on the right is your vacation destination.
