Our family-run Haus Seerose, on the beautifully situated Seerosenteich in the climatic health resort of Reit im Winkl, is located at the foot of the south-facing slope of the Hausberg, very quiet but still central, only a 3-minute walk from the centre. Last house in the Seerosenweg (dead end) Our house is south-west facing with a wonderful panoramic view of the Kaisergebirge The non-smoking holiday flats, furnished in a rustic style, have separate, fully equipped kitchens, bathrooms with showers, WC, cable TV, and radio alarm clock. Internet is also available for our guests. We are also happy to offer a bread roll service. There are garages and parking spaces at the house. A small cosy garden and a large sun terrace invite you to relax. Beautiful, challenging but also comfortable hiking trails along the waterfall start directly from Haus Seerose. They are suitable for sporty as well as for older guests. Right behind our house is the barefoot path and a new, TÜV-certified via ferrata at the waterfall. The Kneipp facility next to it gets the circulation and health going again. Free parking on all municipal car parks in Reit im Winkl. In winter there are well-maintained cross-country ski trails in the immediate vicinity of our house (5 minutes' walk). Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. Arrival Description

Leave the motorway A8 Munich-Salzburg at the exit Bernau and turn left in the direction of Grassau - Marquartstein and from there in the direction of Reit im Winkl. From the centre of the village in the direction of Tiroler Straße. Then turn right into Birnbacher Str. and finally right into Seerosenweg.
