Dear guests, our family-run house is situated in a quiet central location (right in the heart of Reit im Winkl, inner village centre) with an unobstructed view of the Unterberg and the Kaiser Mountains. All lovingly furnished double rooms have shower/WC , balcony , flat-screen cable TV , telephone and a digital safe. All cultural and sporting facilities in Reit im Winkl (festival hall, outdoor pool, cross-country stadium) can be reached in max. 5 minutes on foot. The cross-country skiing trails and hiking paths are right in front of the house. We are a partner of Naturwärme. Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title "climatic health resort" is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. In addition to the natural conditions for good air, we actively take care with natural warmth or ample bus offers that the good mountain air is preserved for us.
