WELCOME TO THE ALPENCHALET Welcome to the Alpenchalet in Reit im Winkl. Our property is situated in a quiet location in the Entfelden neighborhood, just a few minutes from the town center. Here you'll find seven individually furnished apartments-each with its own balcony or garden. Surrounded by mountains, alpine pastures, and plenty of nature, the Alpenchalet is a wonderful starting point for exploring Reit im Winkl and the surrounding region. Hiking and biking trails begin right outside the door, and in winter, the cross-country ski trail and ski bus are just a short distance away. We ourselves love nature and the unique landscape around Reit im Winkl. Environment description
There's plenty to discover around the Alpine chalet in every season. The surrounding mountains, alpine pastures, natural lakes, and swimming lakes, as well as numerous hiking and biking trails, invite you to enjoy active days in nature. Whether hiking, biking, climbing, golfing, horseback riding, rafting, or paragliding-the possibilities are endless. You can set out on many activities right from the house. The Wetterkreuz and various alpine huts are within walking distance, and walking and biking trails begin right nearby. In winter, the cross-country ski trail is only about 100 m from the house. The ski bus to the Winklmoos-Alm and Steinplatte departs from the Tourist Information Office, which is about 550 m away. Other ski areas, such as Hochkössen and KitzSki, are also easily accessible. Restaurants, cafés, shopping, and other recreational activities can also be found in the immediate vicinity. The town center is about 900 m from the Alpenchalet.
About the host
We've fallen in love with the natural beauty of the Chiemgau region, with its mountains and lakes. We are designers Veronika Kinczli and Frank Wagner, and we live in Munich with our two children, Anian and Cleo. There, together with a dedicated team, we run one of the most renowned design agencies, but we're regularly in Reit im Winkl on weekends and during vacations, taking care of the house, garden, and guests, and exuberantly enjoying the beauty of Chiemgau's nature every spare minute we have. Our dear Manfred is on site at every opportunity as our "head of reception" and takes care of our guests, their questions, and concerns with great warmth-and, most especially, looks after their four-legged friends with lots of love. Our apartments are non-smoking. All apartments feature their own balcony or garden. The water at the Alpenchalet comes from a spring above Entfelden and is pure Alpine spring water. Our heating energy comes from the local biomass cogeneration plant. A heated ski room and a lockable bike garage with a small workshop are available for your equipment. There is also a small library in the building and free Wi-Fi. Towels and bed linens are provided in our apartments. The kitchens are well-equipped and have everything you need for your stay-from pots and pans to dishes and silverware. TOURIST TAX / INCLUSIVE CARD With the Inclusive Card, you can take advantage of many offers in Reit im Winkl for free or at a discount.
