Country house in a sunny location with a view of the Wilder Kaiser. Enjoy the wonderful mountain air on the balcony, terrace or in our large garden. Beautiful hikes are possible directly from the house. For winter sports enthusiasts, the cross-country ski trails are right by the house. Alpine skiers can use the local bus (bus stop about 5 minutes walk from the guesthouse). A heated boot room and a ski room are available. The centre of the village is about a 10-minute walk away. Parking spaces are available in the courtyard. Your advantage as our guest: We are partner landlord/operator of the Reit im Winkl swimming card. This gives you the opportunity to receive further free services in addition to our own, such as free entry to the Reit im Winkl open-air swimming pool, the Kössen forest swimming pool and the lido pools at Walchsee. Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title "climatic health resort" is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern.
