Description

Country house in a sunny location with a view of the Wilder Kaiser. Enjoy the wonderful mountain air on the balcony, terrace or in our large garden. Beautiful hikes are possible directly from the house. For winter sports enthusiasts, the cross-country ski trails are right by the house. Alpine skiers can use the local bus (bus stop about 5 minutes walk from the guesthouse). A heated boot room and a ski room are available. The centre of the village is about a 10-minute walk away. Parking spaces are available in the courtyard. We are also a partner rental company/operator of the Benzeck ski lifts. This means that, in addition to our own services, you can enjoy other free services such as free travel on the Benzeck lifts in winter (EUR1.00 contribution towards costs). Reit im Winkl climatic health resort According to Wikipedia, the title "climatic health resort" is awarded to "places whose air and climate, according to an expert opinion, have properties that are conducive to recreation and health. Reit im Winkl was designated a climatic health resort in 1956 and since then has repeatedly met the requirements for the certificate by making efforts. For one thing, the altitude ensures that the summer heat remains moderate and the nights pleasantly cool. The village is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and belongs to the "Bavarian Alps" climate district. The weather character is decisively determined by the conditions, i.e. by the influence of the mountain ranges and the valley incisions on the weather pattern. In addition to the natural conditions for good air, we actively take care with the natural warmth or ample bus offers that the good mountain air is preserved for us.

Motorway Munich Salzburg A8, exit Bernau or Grabenstätt to Reit im Winkl approx. 30 km. Take the train to Prien am Chiemsee station.
