Arrival Description

From the north - Drive from Munich/Frankfurt/Stuttgart via the A99 towards Salzburg. At the München Süd interchange, change to the A8 in the direction of Salzburg. Leave the highway at the Bad Reichenhall / Berchtesgaden exit and take the B 20/B21 to Berchtesgaden. In Berchtesgaden follow the signs to Obersalzberg. Drive up the Salzbergstrasse. After 3 km turn left, the hotel is also signposted. From the South - From Bologna/Florence/Rome/Venice take the highway in the direction of ( Udine, Tarviso (Austrian border ). In Tarviso, change to the A2 freeway in the direction of Salzburg/Villach. Leave the highway at the exit Salzburg Süd/ Hallein and drive straight ahead in the direction of Berchtesgaden. Either turn left in Unterau in the direction of Oberau and drive up the mountain ( 14 % increase ) - the road is signposted all the way here with a Kempinski sign. Or continue straight on the main road to Berchtesgaden and turn left at the Oberalzberg sign. Drive up the Salzbergstrasse ( 24 % increase ). Turn left after 3 km, the hotel is also signposted here with a Kempinski label. From the east -Munich, while still on the highway, change to the A 10 in the direction of Villach. Leave the highway at the exit Salzburg-Süd/ Berchtesgaden and continue straight on the B160 towards Berchtesgaden. Either turn left in Unterau in the direction of Oberau and drive up the mountain ( 14 % increase ) - the road is signposted all the way here with a Kempinski sign. Or continue straight on the main road to Berchtesgaden and turn left at the Obersalzberg sign. Drive up the Salzbergstrasse ( 24 % increase ). Turn left after 3 km, the hotel is also signposted here with a Kempinski sign. From the West - From Munich/Frankfurt/Stuttgart, take the A99 towards Salzburg. At the München Süd junction, change to the A8 in the direction of Salzburg. Leave the freeway at the Bad Reichenhall / Berchtesgaden exit and take the B 20/B21 to Berchtesgaden. In Berchtesgaden follow the signs to Obersalzberg. Drive up the Salzbergstrasse. After 3 km turn left.
