In the middle of the mountain range of the Berchtesgaden Alps, the spacious, gentle meadow landscape of the community of Schönau am Königssee spreads out like a green carpet. Our 4-star Alpenhotel Zechmeisterlehen is located on a high plateau not far from world-famous Lake Königssee, in a quiet yet central location. At an altitude of about 650 meters N:N: a fairytale nature and miles of hiking trails await you. The Alpenhotel Zechmeisterlehen is an optimal starting point for a hiking vacation in the Berchtesgaden Alps. With in-house bicycles, which are available for you to rent in summer, you can also conquer the magnificent area. In winter, kilometers of well-kept winter hiking trails, romantic carriage rides, sunny cross-country ski trails await you. Ski schools are located in the immediate vicinity. From the nearby bus stop you can easily reach the Königssee or the center of Schönau am Köngissee or Berchtesgaden. Relax after a long mountain tour in our modern panoramic pool and in the extensive sauna area. Treat yourself to the experience of being really pampered in our 4-star hotel!

Arrival Description

Freeway Munich - Salzburg (A8) until exit Bad Reichenhall - last exit before the border (VIGNETTENPFLICHT!). Then always follow the signs to "Berchtesgaden" - through the villages Bad Reichenhall - Bayerisch Gmain - Hallturm - until Bischofswiesen. After this village follow the by-pass road in the direction of Königssee until you meet the federal road 305. There you turn right in the direction of Schönau a. Königssee / Ramsau. After approx. 300 m turn immediately left, at the sign "Schönau a. Königssee" drive approx. 200 m up the hill, then you can already see the sign "Alpenhotel Zechmeisterlehen" on the left side. Follow this sign. After about 2 minutes you will already see our house. Driving time from Munich is about 2 hours.
