The accommodation is ideal for single travelers or couples, an additional person is possible by sofa bed. In the living/bedroom there is a double bed (1.60 m x 2.00 m), an open closet, a sofa bed, smart TV, a fully equipped kitchenette with dishwasher and microwave, coffee machine, a dining area, a bathroom with shower/WC, use of washing machine/coffee machine for a small fee, blackout curtains/blinds. Fly screen balcony door. On the covered balcony (south/west) with comfortable seating you can enjoy the sunset in the evening. A parking space and fast WLAN are available free of charge. Description

Our friendly one-room apartment Knospe is located on the outskirts of Tettenhausen, an idyllic and popular vacation spot directly on Lake Waging. Tettenhausen is a district of Waging am See (4 km), a climatic health resort in the beautiful Chiemgau region. The accommodation Knospe is only 700 m away from the public lido Waginger See (the warmest lake in Upper Bavaria). Cycling and hiking trails start on our doorstep.

Environment description

A unique panoramic view over the Waginger and Tachinger lakes as well as the Salzburg, Berchtesgaden and Chiemgau mountains awaits you just a short walk from your accommodation. E-charging station in the village. Within walking distance: lido/popular restaurant/boat rental/public table tennis table/well-stocked village shop/gas station with fresh baked goods/bus stop (with guest card - free ride (in the season e.g. to Salzburg/to Königssee). Ideal starting point for many excursions by car: 30 km to Salzburg/Chiemsee/Burghausen/Ruhpolding and 50 km to Berchtesgaden.

About the host

Welcome to our modest apartment house! We are the Helminger`s, Thomas and Birgit (1st floor) with mom Christa (first floor). We are happy to be at your disposal, in person or on the phone/mobile. As locals, we also have insider tips for you.

Arrival Description

Arrival by car via the A8 Munich-Salzburg or by train to Waging a. See or Kirchanschöring or Fridolfing/Götzing. We can pick you up from the train station free of charge on request.
