In 10 minutes (13 km) you can reach Lake Chiemsee, where you can go boating, rowing or pedal boating, sailing, surfing or swimming against the backdrop of the Chiemgau Alps, as well as travelling on the oldest steam tram in the world. All year round there are boats to the Herreninsel with its fairytale castle and the picturesque Fraueninsel, and we also recommend trips to Salzburg (42 km, Hohensalzburg Fortress, Mozart's birthplace, Hellbrunn Palace, Salzburg Zoo) and Berchtesgaden (45 km, Königssee, St Bartholoma pilgrimage church, Berchtesgaden salt mine, Eagle's Nest on the Obersalzberg).

Arrival Description

From the A8 take exit no. 111 (Siegsdorf-West), drive along Traunsteiner Straße in the direction of Siegsdorf, follow the road for approx. 1.3km, then turn left into Haunertinger Straße, house number 5 is on the left after 150m.
