Description
The Duftbräu is located on the gentle high plateau of the Samerberg above the Inn Valley and Lake Chiemsee and offers an overwhelming view of the Bavarian foothills of the Alps. Here, the famous Bavarian clocks go a little differently: although only a few minutes by car from the A8, here stress and hustle and bustle seem to have been left behind in the valley. The Duftbräu is a little world of its own, "a little piece of Bavaria" in fact: The house chapel, the animals in the paddock, the rustic gastronomy area with the "Bräustube", the children's playground "Gaudi-Alm" designed close to nature, the warm hospitality of the Wallner host family, and last but not least the "Duftbräu-Stadl" round off the harmonious overall picture.
Environment description
At the foot of Heuberg, Feichteck and Hochries, embedded in the unique landscape of the Samerberg, you will find our cozy mountain inn. Countless hiking routes begin directly at the house and in the immediate vicinity. Rosenheim with its historic old town, a wide range of cultural activities and excellent shopping facilities can be easily reached by car in a few minutes. Also nearby are the Chiemsee with the famous royal castle of Ludwig II and the picturesque Fraueninsel. Worthwhile excursion destinations are also Kufstein, Innsbruck, Munich, Reit im Winkl and the Berchtesgadener Land, the Mozart city Salzburg, or the nearby Amerang with an automobile and a farmhouse museum.
About the host
Markus Wallner has been running the Duftbräu since November 2001. The house is thus already managed by the 4th generation of the Wallner family, which has grown in 2010 with little Matthew and 2013 with little Lorenz. Markus Wallner, wife Irmi, his mother Maria Wallner and the entire Duftbräu team always have an open ear for the concerns of their guests. They ensure that the house retains its friendly, family atmosphere in the future.

Plus 1,50 EUR health resort fee per person/night from 16 years. Children under 16 years are exempt from the spa fee. The rooms can also be booked as 30 single rooms for business events.
Arrival Description
Die Anfahrt erfolgt über die A8. Am Autobahndreieck Inntal wechseln Sie auf die A93 und nehmen die Ausfahrt Brannenburg. Von dort aus geht es durch die Gemeinden Nußdorf am Inn, Roßholzen, Eßbaum und Holzmann zum Duftbräu hinauf. Von Österreich kommend folgen Sie der A12 / E45 auf die A93 in Deutschland und nehmen dann die Ausfahrt Brannenburg. Unterhalb dem Berggasthof Hotel befindet sich ein großzügiger Parkplatz.
