A ground-floor flat with its own entrance in a large country house with a spacious garden, situated on a south-facing slope with stunning views of the mountains and furnished to a high standard with tasteful décor. From the kitchen-diner, the living room and the terrace, the view extends over a river valley landscape with the Watzmann, Untersberg, Predigtstuhl, Hochstaufen and Zwiesel in the background. Underfloor and wall heating, along with a tiled stove, ensure cosy warmth in winter. The controlled, silent ventilation system creates a healthy indoor climate and provides pleasant coolness on hot summer days. Pets are not permitted in this allergy-friendly flat. Due to the flat's special features, the hosts ask that bookings with small children be avoided.
Environment description
The holiday flat in rural Sillersdorf is located in historic Rupertiwinkel, the northern part of Berchtesgadener Land. Beautiful walks in the floodplains of the Sur river or into the Ainringer Moos are possible from the house. A dense network of cycle paths and small country roads also leads from the house to numerous shorter or longer cycle tours, for example to Abtsee and Laufen, to Waginger See, to Ainringer Moos, to Schönramer Filz, up the Saalach or down the Saalach and Salzach. The old town of Salzburg, 12 km away, can also be reached in 45 minutes by bike exclusively on cycle paths or alternatively from Freilassing railway station, 5 km away, by S-Bahn or by car. The spa town of Bad Reichenhall can be reached in 25 minutes by car or by S-Bahn from Freilassing station, Berchtesgaden in 50 minutes, Königsee in 55 minutes and the Salzach towns of Tittmoning and Burghausen in less than an hour. Prien am Chiemsee is 45 minutes away by car. From there, the boat takes you to the island of Herrenchiemsee or the Fraueninsel.
