Description

The Oberwirt is located directly on Lake Obingen with the hotel's own sunbathing lawn and jetty, right in the green heart of the Chiemgau. Only about 15 minutes by car from Lake Chiemsee and halfway between Munich and Salzburg, the ideal starting point for day trips, cycling and hiking tours. The village centre with the parish church of St. Laurentius and the town hall is about 50 - 100 m away. The hotel rooms are lovingly and individually furnished, excellent box-spring beds ensure a restful sleep, free high-speed W-Lan in the entire hotel, almost all rooms with balcony, TV, safe, shower/WC, radio, telephone; free parking directly at the hotel. Furthermore, both our sauna and steam bath are exclusively available to our hotel guests at no extra charge. Familiar, friendly, "g'standn", Bavarian, traditional and modern in harmony. "The way to a man's heart is through his stomach", they say; the cuisine at the Oberwirt brings people together and makes them happy. The pleasant atmosphere, sitting in the beer garden under chestnut trees in summer and enjoying or in the cold season, in the cosy guest room with traditional tiled stove, getting closer to each other. The in-house butcher's shop produces and sells fresh sausage and meat specialities almost daily, which you can then sometimes expect at our vitality buffet for breakfast. A large banqueting hall, often used for weddings, meetings and celebrations, as well as various conference and restaurant rooms provide for a wide variety of possible private and business events.
