The real wood flooring laid throughout the flat and the light-coloured exposed roof trim create a very homely atmosphere. Two balconies facing south-east and south-west invite you to linger and enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains. Kitchen with dining area, dishwasher, electric cooker with oven, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. The living room is spatially separated from the bedroom by a wood-burning stove and the fireplace wall. Description

Hintergschwendt is a high valley situated at an altitude of 830 metres in the mountains between Lake Chiemsee to the north and the Kampenwand to the south. Our separate annexe on the farm is situated on a sunny, idyllic and peaceful high plateau at the foot of the Kampenwand, surrounded by beautiful nature, between Bernau am Chiemsee and Aschau im Chiemgau. You’ll be staying in a little natural paradise in a prime location, completely peaceful, amidst a stunning, unique, idyllic mountain landscape. Surrounded by meadows, woods and mountains. Here you will find a completely undisturbed retreat and rediscover your zest for life during a break. Children are very welcome. Whether it’s a stroll through the Hintergschwendt high valley, a long mountain hike or a mountain bike tour straight from the house up the Kampenwand or into the surrounding mountains, Hintergschwendt is the ideal starting point. On our mountain farm, which we run as a sideline, we have cows, cats and a dog. Children, and adults too, are of course welcome to stroke and cuddle our animals. We sell wood for the wood-burning stove.

tourism tax / plus tourism tax The prices quoted are exclusive of tourism tax, which is EUR2.00 per person/night. For children and young people aged 6 to 15, the visitor's tax is EUR1.80 per person/night. Children up to the age of 5 are exempt from local tax. You pay the local tax for the municipality of Aschau i. Ch. directly to your host.

Arrival Description

By car: A8 motorway Munich/Salzburg - take the Bernau exit, then turn left towards Aschau/Kampenwandbahn. Coming from Bernau towards Aschau: pass the Bernau town exit, continue straight on for approx. 1.5 km to the district of Außerkoy, then turn left towards Hintergschwendt / Seiserhof / Seiseralm. Follow the road for approx. 2 km to Hintergschwendt.
