Description

You live at the foot of Hohenaschau Castle, in a historic building with several flats in the house. Our holiday flat is on the 1st floor, App. No. 104 and is barrier-free due to a lift in the house. Ideal starting point for many walks and mountain hikes. The valley station of the Kampenwand cable car is only 100 metres away. The bus stop for the RVO bus to the village, the railway station, shopping facilities, the mountaineering village of Sachrang, Bernau am Chiemsee and Rosenheim is just a few minutes' walk away. Various restaurants with beer gardens are within 10 minutes walking distance. Ideal starting point for numerous excursions between Munich and Salzburg. Free WLAN, car park in front of the house. You are welcome to bring a dog for an extra charge.

Arrival Description

By car: Motorway A8 Munich/Salzburg - exit Aschau / Frasdorf or Bernau, turn left towards Aschau/Kampenwandbahn. Coming from Frasdorf: pass the entrance to Aschau i.Ch., straight ahead on Rosenheimer Straße, past the petrol station. At the roundabout take the first exit and follow the road for approx. 2 km through the village in the direction of the Kampenwand cable car and Hohenaschau Castle, below Hohenaschau Castle in a sharp left-hand bend you will find Haus Burg on the right-hand side. Coming from Bernau: pass the entrance to Aschau i.Ch., straight ahead on Bernauer Straße, approx. 50 m after crossing the railway track at the roundabout take the second exit towards Kampenwandseilbahn, follow the road for approx. 2 km through the village - see above.
