The cosy, non-smoking, one-room 'Kampennest' apartment offers 32 square metres of modern living comfort in a stylish Alpine design. The friendly living room is equipped with easy-care vinyl floor tiles and has a comfortable double bed for two people, a dining area with a table and two chairs, and a flat-screen cable TV for relaxing hours. The fully equipped kitchenette with a 2-ring hob allows you to prepare small meals, so you can be completely self-sufficient during your stay. The bathroom offers a practical combination of shower and bathtub, toilet and hairdryer. A special highlight is the private, furnished sun terrace facing east, from which you can enjoy the magnificent mountain view. In addition, there is a large lawn with outdoor seating in front of the house for communal use - perfect for enjoying the view of the Kampenwand. Bed linen and towels are of course provided, so you can arrive without any worries. Your dog is also welcome for an additional charge.

The Kampennest App10 is your cosy hideaway in modern alpine style and offers a combined living room and bedroom with terrace. After an eventful day, you can look forward to relaxing hours in your 'Kampennest'. The holiday apartment is located in the well-maintained Gschwendtnerhof holiday complex with a total of 26 individually designed apartments. At an altitude of 840 metres in the idyllic high valley of Hintergschwendt - between Aschau im Chiemgau and Bernau am Chiemsee - you can enjoy peace and quiet, nature and a fantastic mountain backdrop, surrounded by meadows and forests between Kampenwand and Chiemsee. The apartment is the ideal starting point for hikes, bike tours and excursions in the region. Shops and restaurants of all kinds can be found in nearby Aschau or Bernau. A well-kept communal garden with wooden loungers, outdoor seating, barbecue area and open fire pit invites you to relax and socialise. In the basement, our guests have access to a sauna, two fitness machines (treadmill and exercise bike), a coin-operated washing machine and a coin-operated dryer. There is also a storage room, a drying room with ski storage and a cosy lounge with table tennis, table football, a play area and seating. Wi-Fi and ample parking are available free of charge. Pets are welcome - dogs are allowed in apartment App10 for an additional fee. We offer our guests a bread roll service (limited during the winter months). Simply order and pay yourself - for an enjoyable start to the day. The Gschwendtnerhof combines nature and relaxation - an ideal place for a relaxing and varied holiday in the heart of the Chiemgau region.

Environment description

The nearby Lake Chiemsee - affectionately known as the 'Bavarian Sea' - is only about ten minutes away by car and offers a wide range of opportunities for steamboat trips, including visits to Herrenchiemsee Palace and the idyllic Fraueninsel, as well as water sports and relaxing days spent swimming. For those interested in culture, there is a wealth of excursion destinations: the cities of Salzburg, Munich and Kufstein, as well as the picturesque Königssee, are easily accessible in just over an hour and invite you to enjoy a variety of day trips.

The holiday complex with 26 individually designed holiday apartments is accessible by car all year round and offers an ideal starting point for hikes, mountain tours, cycling tours, swimming, water sports and winter sports.

tourism tax / plus tourism tax The prices are exclusive of tourism tax of 2,00 EUR per person/night. For persons from the 7th to the completion of the 16th year of life 1,80 EUR. Children up to the age of 6 years are exempt from local tax. You pay the local tax at your host.

Arrival Description

A8 München-Salzburg, Ausfahrt Frasdorf/Aschau. Nach 4 km biegen Sie in Aschau, nach der Flussbrücke im Kreisverkehr, in Richtung Bernau/Prien ab. 3 km weiter zweigt in Außerkoy eine Straße rechts ab. Sie folgen der Beschilderung "Gschwendtnerhof" und fahren 3 km bergauf, bis Sie das Hochtal von Hintergschwendt erreichen. Vor dem Haus finden Sie einen großen Parkplatz.
