Description
Nestled in idyllic nature, the Gschwendtnerhof is located on a high plateau at 840 m between Aschau (5 km) and Bernau/Chiemsee (5 km) at the foot of the Kampenwand and is accessible by car all year round. Right on the doorstep, surrounded by meadows and forests, there are countless opportunities for hiking, mountaineering, mountain biking, paragliding, skiing (cross-country and downhill) and resting in cosy alpine huts. Enjoy the impressive views of the Chiemgau mountains and the "Bavarian Sea", Lake Chiemsee. The lake is only 10 minutes away by car and offers many bathing spots and water sports. A sauna with shower and relaxation room is available for free use. A bicycle storage room, a ski room and a large recreation room with table tennis, table football and many games as well as a cosy seating area can be used. There is also a washing and drying room with coin-operated washing machine and dryer. A car park for the guests is in front of the house. A dog is welcome for an extra charge.
Environment description
Hintergschwendt is a quiet district of the municipality of Aschau im Chiemgau. In 1984, the Gschwendtnerhof was rebuilt as a holiday complex with 26 holiday flats. The large Hintergschwendt/Aigen hikers' car park, from which many hikes to the Kampenwand area start, is only about 500 m away. There are many MTB tours available in the Aschau region and nothing stands in the way of starting directly from the house! A sunbathing lawn with seating area in front of the house invites you to relax with a view of the Kampenwand.

A8 München-Salzburg, Ausfahrt Frasdorf/Aschau. Nach 4 km biegen Sie in Aschau, nach der Flussbrücke, in Richtung Bernau/Prien ab. 3 km weiter zweigt in Außerkoy eine Straße rechts ab. Sie folgen der Beschilderung "Gschwendtnerhof" und fahren 3 km bergauf, bis Sie das Hochtal von Hintergschwendt erreichen. Vor dem Haus finden Sie einen großen Parkplatz.
