Description

Our house is situated in a quiet spot at the end of a small cul-de-sac – a place where you can breathe a sigh of relief straight away. From here, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains and our lovingly tended garden. The spacious holiday flat can accommodate up to four people and has two separate bedrooms. A vine climbs up the sunny south-facing balcony, creating a particularly cosy atmosphere in summer, whilst apple trees in front of the bedroom provide a natural, welcoming ambience.
Numerous hiking trails, walking routes and varied cycle tours start right from the house, so you can enjoy nature without any detours. A lockable bike shed with charging facilities is available for bicycles – ideal for e-bikes and anyone wishing to actively explore the surrounding area. There is a free car park right next to the house, and motorcyclists are also very welcome to bring their bikes. Naturally, you can use our free Wi-Fi.
Please note that pets and dogs are not permitted.

Aschau im Chiemgau is an ideal base for a wide range of experiences in one of Bavaria’s most beautiful regions. Numerous day-trip destinations, museums and cultural highlights in the Chiemgau and neighbouring Tyrol invite you to rediscover the surrounding area time and time again. The Kampenwand rises directly above the village and delights visitors with panoramic trails, cosy mountain huts and genuine mountain adventures.
Just a few minutes away lies Lake Chiemsee with its islands – a place to enjoy nature, culture and relaxing moments by the water. Ideal for day trips are Salzburg with its historic old town, Munich with its museums, shopping and sights, and Kufstein in Tyrol with its impressive fortress. Many of these destinations are easily accessible by car or by train, making them ideal for guests who want to experience a lot and appreciate variety.

As hosts of the holiday flat on Hammersteinweg, we extend a warm welcome to our guests and look forward to sharing with you the very best experiences around Aschau im Chiemgau, as well as throughout the Chiemgau and Tyrol regions. We can provide motorcyclists with special tips for scenic, winding rides. For a quick refreshment break, the nearby Kneipp pool in the Hammerbach is the perfect spot.
Right on our doorstep, you’ll find a variety of hikes and leisurely walks – whether along the River Prien or along the popular Bankerlweg with its magnificent viewpoints. Cyclists and mountain bikers will find ideal routes through the surrounding mountains and to the alpine pastures, ranging from leisurely to challenging.

tourism tax / plus tourism tax: 
The prices quoted are exclusive of tourism tax, which is €2.00 per person/night. For children and young people aged 6 to 15, the visitor's tax is €1.80 per person/night. Children up to the age of 5 are exempt from local tax. You pay the local tax for the municipality of Aschau i. Ch. directly to your host. 

Arrival Description

A8 Munich–Salzburg, Frasdorf/Aschau i.Ch. exit, turn left towards Aschau i.Ch., drive through the town until you reach the roundabout, take the first exit, then turn right at the traffic lights and continue to the junction, then turn left into Zellerhornstr., after approx. 600 m turn right into Hochriesstr., shortly afterwards turn right onto “Am Lehmbichl” and immediately left into the cul-de-sac off Hammersteinweg. Our house is the last one on the street.
