Our bright and comfortable non-smoking holiday flat in Chiemgau is located at ground level and, with 55 m² of space, offers plenty of room for a relaxing holiday for 2 to 4 people. A private terrace with garden furniture and two cosy seating areas invites you to enjoy the fresh mountain air and the peaceful surroundings. The living and sleeping area, furnished in an Alpine style, creates a cosy atmosphere and features a snug dining area in the bay window, as well as a choice of a pull-out sofa bed or a fold-out cupboard bed (1.40 × 2 m), as space constraints mean that only one of the two sleeping options can be used at a time. Flat-screen satellite TV, free Wi-Fi and a telephone are also available. A separate bedroom with a double bed ensures a good night’s sleep. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need – including a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, a three-ring hob, a small separate oven and a microwave, toaster, filter coffee machine and kettle. The bathroom is equipped with a shower/bath, toilet and hairdryer; there is also a separate toilet. Bed linen and towels are, of course, provided. The flat features parquet flooring and a patio door with a fly screen. Pets are not permitted.

Description
The comfortable App6 holiday apartment, furnished in Alpine style, impresses with its spacious sunny terrace. It is located in the well-maintained Gschwendtnerhof holiday complex with a total of 26 individually designed apartments. At an altitude of 840 metres in the idyllic high valley of Hintergschwendt – between Aschau im Chiemgau and Bernau am Chiemsee – you can enjoy peace and quiet, nature and a fantastic mountain backdrop, surrounded by meadows and forests between Kampenwand and Chiemsee. The apartment is the ideal starting point for hikes, bike tours and excursions in the region. Shops and restaurants of all kinds can be found in nearby Aschau or Bernau.
A well-kept communal garden with wooden loungers, outdoor seating, barbecue area and open fire pit invites you to relax and socialise. In the basement, our guests have access to a sauna, two fitness machines (treadmill and exercise bike), a coin-operated washing machine and a coin-operated dryer. There is also a storage room, a drying room with ski storage and a cosy lounge with table tennis, table football, a play area and seating. Wi-Fi and ample parking are available free of charge.
Please note that pets are not allowed in this apartment (App6). We offer our guests a bread roll service (limited during the winter months). Simply order and pay yourself – for an enjoyable start to the day.
Environment description
The nearby Lake Chiemsee – affectionately known as the ‘Bavarian Sea’ – is only about ten minutes away by car and offers a wide range of opportunities for steamboat trips, including visits to Herrenchiemsee Palace and the idyllic Fraueninsel, as well as water sports and relaxing days spent swimming. For those interested in culture, there is a wealth of excursion destinations: the cities of Salzburg, Munich and Kufstein, as well as the picturesque Königssee, are easily accessible in just over an hour and invite you to enjoy a variety of day trips.

The prices quoted are exclusive of tourism tax, which is €2.00 per person/night. For children and young people aged 6 to 15, the visitor's tax is €1.80 per person/night. Children up to the age of 5 are exempt from local tax. You pay the local tax for the municipality of Aschau i. Ch. directly to your host.
Arrival Description
A8 Munich–Salzburg, Frasdorf/Aschau exit. After 4 km, turn off at the roundabout in Aschau (after the river bridge) towards Bernau/Prien. After another 3 km, a road branches off to the right in Außerkoy. Follow the signs for “Gschwendtnerhof” and drive 3 km uphill until you reach the high valley of Hintergschwendt. There is a large car park in front of the house.
