Enjoy the spacious east-facing terrace, ideal for a cosy breakfast or for lingering in the fresh air. The lovingly furnished living room and bedroom offer two single beds that can be pushed together flexibly. An alpine-style dining and sitting area makes for cosy hours. Of course, free WLAN, telephone and flat-screen satellite TV are available so that you can stay connected at all times. The kitchenette is equipped with a 2-ring hob, kettle, coffee machine and a fridge with freezer compartment - perfect for small culinary delights. In the bathroom with shower/WC and hairdryer you will find everything you need for your daily refreshment. Bed linen and towels are of course provided, so you don't have to worry about a thing. Please note: Dogs and pets are unfortunately not allowed!

Description
Nestled in idyllic natural surroundings, the Gschwendtnerhof is situated on a high plateau at 840 metres between Aschau (5 km) and Bernau/Chiemsee (5 km) at the foot of the Kampenwand and can be reached by car all year round. Right on the doorstep, surrounded by meadows and forests, there are countless opportunities for hiking, mountaineering, mountain biking, paragliding, skiing (cross-country and downhill) and resting in cosy mountain huts. Enjoy the impressive views of the Chiemgau mountains and the ‘Bavarian Sea’, Lake Chiemsee. This is only about 10 minutes away by car and offers many bathing spots and water sports facilities.
A sauna with shower and relaxation room is available for free use. A bicycle storage room, a ski room and a large lounge with table tennis, table football and lots of games, as well as a cosy seating area can be used. There is also a washing and drying room with a coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer and free Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, dogs and pets are not allowed in App9.
Environment description
Hintergschwendt is a quiet neighbourhood in the municipality of Aschau im Chiemgau. The Gschwendtnerhof was rebuilt in 1984 as a holiday complex with 26 holiday flats in the Upper Bavarian farmhouse style. The large Hintergschwendt/Aigen hiking car park, from which many hikes to the Kampenwand area start, is only about 500 metres away. There are many MTB tours available in the Aschau region and nothing stands in the way of starting directly from the house! A sunbathing lawn with seating area in front of the house invites you to relax and enjoy the view of the Kampenwand. Free parking in front of the house, no reservation necessary.

Autobahn A8 München - Salzburg, Ausfahrt Frasdorf/Aschau. Nach 4 km sind Sie in Aschau und fahren im Kreisverkehr die zweite Abfahrt Richtung Bernau/Prien. 5 km weiter zweigt in Außerkoy eine Straße rechts ab. Dieser folgen Sie 3 km bergauf, bis Sie auf das Hochplateau von Hintergschwendt kommen. Einen großen Parkplatz finden Sie vor dem Haus.
