Description
Our farm, the Kailhof, is situated between Lake Chiemsee and the Kampenwand in an elevated, quiet location with a view into the charming Priental valley towards Aschau in Chiemgau with a magnificent mountain view. A place to feel good, relax and enjoy. Pure relaxation, in a dreamlike landscape. We are classified with the Naturland quality seal. On request we offer bread roll service, organic milk and organic eggs from the farm. Guided tours by the farmer's wife on the history of the farm and agriculture. Children are welcome, playground and children's vehicle park. We are an ideal starting point for many hikes and bike tours towards Lake Chiemsee and the mountains, or you can explore our beautiful Chiemgau/Chiemsee region by car. If you arrive with an e-car, you will find a charging station for e-cars, and you can fill up with solar power from our own PV system. For your bicycles, there is a lockable bicycle garage with charging facilities for your e-bikes.
In the farmhouse "Kailhof" we rent a 68 sqm holiday flat with two bedrooms for 4 persons and in our adjoining house "s'Zuahäusl" another holiday flat 55 sqm for 2 persons with separate bedrooms. Parking space in front of the house. Dogs and pets are not allowed.
Environment description
Experience a wonderful natural landscape and many different opportunities to engage in sports. Due to the proximity to the mountains and Lake Chiemsee, you can choose from easy hikes to challenging mountain bike routes.

Kurbezirk II: The prices quoted do not include the spa tax of € 1.30 per person/night. For persons from 7 to 16 years of age 1,15 €. Children up to the age of 6 and severely disabled persons with a reduction in earning capacity of at least 80% and any accompanying person registered on the pass are exempt from the spa tax.
Arrival Description
By car: Motorway A8 Munich/Salzburg - exit Aschau / Frasdorf or Bernau, turn left towards Aschau/Kampenwandbahn.
Coming from Frasdorf: past the entrance to Aschau i.Ch., straight ahead on Rosenheimer Straße, past the petrol station, at the roundabout take the second exit in the direction of Bernau, follow the road, after the town sign end approx. after 750 m, turn left to Göttersberg, drive up the hill. Take the first road on the right, house number 1 on the left.
Coming from Bernau: Drive in the direction of Aschau, after the place-name sign at the end of Bernau drive past Außerkoy, then after approx. 100 m turn right to Göttersberg, drive up the hill. Take the first road on the right, house no. 1 is on the left.
By train: Train connection Munich - Salzburg - get off at Bernau or Prien station. From Prien station to Aschau with the Chiemgaubahn. RVO bus line 9502 Felden - Bernau - Aschau - Sachrang, bus stop Außerkoy. Please call us in advance, we will pick you up from the train station or bus stop.
