Description

In Aschau im Chiemgau, the popular climatic health resort in the middle of the Chiemgau Alps, you will find our Haus Monika with five holiday flats. In a quiet location at the foot of Hohenaschau Castle, it invites you to enjoy carefree holidays. It is only a 5-minute walk to the valley station of the Kampenwand cable car, where you can gondola up to the Kampenwand and hike through the mountains. Wonderful walks along the Prien or on the Bankerlweg invite you to slow down and relax. Numerous mountain and valley routes can be explored from the front door, whether on foot, by mountain bike or e-bike. For our guests we offer a barbecue area with barbecue hut, a large terrace, a beautiful sunbathing lawn and a sauna (small fee) to relax. Various restaurants, with very cosy beer gardens, can be reached in a few minutes. Aschau is the starting point for many excursions to the beautiful Chiemgau region with its Lake Chiemsee and Ludwig II's Herrenchiemsee Castle. You are welcome to take a dog with you for an extra charge.
