Friedrichshafen guest tax

As an overnight guest, you pay the Friedrichshafen guest tax in return for the Echt Bodensee Card. With the Echt Bodensee Card you can travel free of charge by bus and train (except IC/EC) throughout the entire area of the Bodensee-Oberschwaben Verkehrsverbund (bodo), as well as on other sections of the route. At the same time, you benefit from numerous advantages for cultural and leisure activities in the entire Lake Constance region.

The Friedrichshafen guest tax, which is levied by the city of Friedrichshafen, is as follows

- High season 01.04. - 31.10.: Adults €2.80/night, children and young people aged 6 to 18 €1.40/night
- Low season 01.11. - 31.03.: Adults €1.70/night, children and teenagers 6 to 18 years €0.85/night


Exempt from the guest tax:

- Children up to 6 years
- Participants of school camp stays
- People with disabilities (80%) and their companions (proof)
- Business travelers with proof (business travel certificate in German; business travel certificate in English)

The invoice will be issued by your host.

Tourist tax information
