Please, note that the pool is currently not available. This absolutely exceptional vacation apartment was created in 2022 by the renovation of the listed boiler house of the historic malt beer brewery to Achern. The apartment with loft character has its own fenced garden, 4m ceiling height, a high-quality kitchen, underfloor heating / cooling. The garden with terrace offers space for children and pets, a BBQ Smoker and two simple Holland bikes are available for guests to use. Dogs are generally allowed. Due to the open loft-like architecture, the apartment does not have separate bedrooms. Two sleeping places are created on a very comfortable 1.60m sofa bed (with topper on request). On a gallery there are one or two more sleeping places (a proper full-size double bed 180 x 200 cm) for guests who are free of giddiness. Especially for children the gallery with the glass window and view into the night sky is an experience. In the direct neighborhood there is a coffee roastery in a historical ambience and a pasta and pizza manufactory. The location is close to the center of Achern, but absolutely quiet due to the location in the backyard. Within a 20-minute drive, guests can reach the half-timbered village of Sasbachwalden, which offers a variety of gastronomic options, hiking opportunities and wine cellars. Here there are extensive mountain bike routes, a runway for paragliders, a summer toboggan run and a climbing park, hiking trails including a section of the GR20 Westweg and in the wider area many typical Black Forest sights. The French border is just a 15-minute drive away and the city of Strasbourg is another 10 minutes away. Additionally bookable for an extra charge (currently not completed): Pool and sauna package. The pool is reserved exclusively for the vacation guests of this apartment and is not visible to others. Recreation room with private cinema and pool table 8 Feet billiard table with granite top, 2 cues, balls; Professional stepper fitness machine, Vaha Fitness mirror with integrated monitor for various workout programs; High performance video projector; Amazon Prime video stick; Stereo sound; Elevated gallery with six VIP movie theater chairs (from historic movie theater).

Check-in and check-out regulation

Please contact the host 3 days before arrival to discuss your individual arrival time. The key is handed over via the key safe. Please fill out the Holidu check-in form, which was sent to you by email, in full, including your address. This helps the host to optimally prepare for your stay. Additional services: Use of the pool costs 49 EUR per day and use of the billiard room and home cinema costs a further 49 EUR per day. Please transfer the respective amount via PayPal, including your name and booking period, to: gaestehaus-achern@gmx.de. You will receive a separate invoice for this.

Differing cancellation conditions

The guest can cancel free of charge until 30 days before arrival. The guest will be charged 90% of the price of the reservation if they cancel in the 30 days before arrival.

Tourist tax information

The prices shown do not include tourist tax. Currently, no tourist tax is levied in Achern (as of June 2023), should this change, the tax must be paid to the host.
