Das KuckucksLockennest befindet sich direkt am Nationalpart Schwarzwald und ist aufgeteilt in bzw. ausgestatten mit einem eigenen Eingangsbereich, einem Esszimmer mit moderner, offener und komplett ausgestatteter Küche, ein Wohnzimmer (hier ist auch ein ausklappbares 1,40m-Bett vorhanden), ein Schlafzimmer mit 1,60m-Boxspringbett und ein Bad mit Dusche und Badewanne (mit Kellerfenster, noch im 80er-Jahren-Styl). Zudem gibt es ein separates WC (ebenso mit Kellerfenster, modernisiert mit hellen Fliesen) und ein Abstellkämmerle. Satelliten-TV und WLAN sind kostenfrei verfügbar. Das Wohn- und Esszimmer mit offener Küche können durch eine Schiebetür getrennt oder als großzügiger offener Raum benutzt werden. Für die winterliche Gemütlichkeit in der Wohnung sorgt neben der Sonne und den normalen Heizkörper, ein moderner Kaminofen im Wohnzimmer. Neben dem 1,60m-Bett im Schlafzimmer und dem 1,40m-Bett im Wohnzimmer, ist es auf Anfrage möglich, ein Kinder-Reisebett beziehungsweise ein klappbares Einzelbett bereitzustellen, sodass bis zu 5 Personen im KuckucksLockennest beherbergt werden können. Our spacious, bright and clean holiday accommodation KuckucksLockennest shows great attention to detail. The apartment is located on a sunny hillside, on the edge of the forest and impresses with the huge south-facing window front and the 25sqm sun terrace with a dream view of the Seebach Valley and the forests of the Black Forest National Park.
The edge of the forest and many hiking trails are just a few minutes' walk from the KuckucksLockennest. We have lots of excursion tips for you!

Thanks to the huge south-facing window front, the living rooms shine in full light even on cloudy days. On sunny winter days, the sunlight passes through the large window front and fills the living spaces with light and warmth. In summer, the hot rays of the sun hit the roofing of the terrace, so that excessive heating is avoided. Thanks to its wonderful east-south-west orientation, the terrace can be enjoyed at any time of the year and in the right weather.

The KuckucksLockennest is divided into or equipped with:

The living and dining room with an open kitchen can be separated by a sliding door or used as a generous open space.

In addition to the sun and normal radiators, a modern fireplace in the living room ensures winter comfort in the apartment.

In addition to the 1.60 m bed in the bedroom and the 1.40 m bed in the living room, it is possible on request to provide a children's travel cot or a foldable single bed so that up to 5 people can be accommodated in the cuckoo's lock nest.

The KuckucksLockennest is located in the climatic health resort of Seebach - the idyllic Black Forest village in the city triangle of Baden-Baden, Freudenstadt and Strasbourg - in the midst of a unique Black Forest landscape, right on the edge of the Black Forest National Park. The wonderful forests, lush green orchards, numerous mountain streams, high cliffs, impressive viewpoints and grazing cattle guarantee unforgettable hiking and nature experiences.

Seebach is a paradise for every hiker, mountain biker and cross-country skier. Over 90 km of wonderful walking and hiking trails are right outside the front door between 400 and 1164 m above sea level. With charming destinations that are lined up like pearls on a chain: like the famous Mummelsee, the wild Wildsee, the Karlsruhe Grat with Bosenstein, romantic Black Forest mills, the brand new visitor center at the Ruhestein National Park (opening 2021), the Silbergründle visitor mine, the observation towers on the mountain top of the Hornisgrinde, the Hohfelsen with the summit cross and in between many viewpoints with benches.
In winter there are several km of cross-country ski runs in the Black Forest National Park, a few minutes drive from the apartment.

In addition to beautiful nature, Seebach offers efficient gastronomy and an original group and adventure program. You go to Vollmer's mill and make your own butter, you practice spinning on the spinning wheel and sing happy songs. A visit underground in the Erstollen Silbergründle should not be missing, of course. The "Kurpark" invites you to relax and unwind and the expert distiller explains the fine art of distilling schnapps to his guests.

In addition, the wide children's program, the adventure playground and family-friendly hiking trails make Seebach a popular holiday destination for young and old. There is a children's playground just 100 m from the KuckucksLockennest (including a table tennis table and a small soccer field). The larger adventure playground at the "Kurpark" (1 km from our apartment, reachable in 10-15 minutes by foot) is worth a visit with its many water games, the soccer field and the cable car.

It is not for nothing that the climatic health resort of Seebach was awarded the national winner in the "Family Holidays in Germany" competition and in the years 2000 to 2012 as the state winner "Family Holidays".

For even more fun in summer: In the immediate vicinity of Seebach there are also some wonderful outdoor pools and bathing lakes.

You will never forget a holiday in Seebach combined with nice places to stop for a break in the cultivated gastronomy.

In the village center, approx. 1.3 km from our apartment, there is a small supermarket, a bakery and a very good butcher. So everything you need to live.

Day trips to Europa-Park (Rust) - amusement park -, to Baden-Baden, Gaggenau, Gengenbach, Karlsruhe, Strasbourg, Freiburg and much more are possible and can be done in less than 1 hour by car.
