The popular Museum Wiesbaden is the state museum for art and nature in the capital of Hesse. In addition to an art collection spanning nine centuries with works by Old Masters, 19th-century artists, Art Nouveau and Classical Modernism, and contemporary art, the two-part museum also presents an extensive natural history collection. “Die blauen Reiterinnen” (The Blue Rider Women) promises concentrated female power and can be seen from October 23, 2026, at the Museum Wiesbaden. The special exhibition focuses for the first time on the female protagonists of the well-known artist group “Der Blaue Reiter” (The Blue Rider).
