Hagschnurer

The "Himmelbett - Schlafen unterm Apfelbaum" is a converted single-axle wagon with a double bed that can be parked under the favorite apple tree on the Hagschnurer Schüür in Hüttwilen. The wagon of a nostalgic Rapid Spezial was converted with a double bed and a seating area and invites you to spend the night under the open sky. Nature with all its colors and scents can be experienced at close range. Upon arrival, the guest can drive (or be driven) the "room" to the overnight place. If bad weather is forecast, a canvas can easily be stretched over the bed. An emergency shelter in the courtyard is available. Infrastructure (WC / shower / breakfast) can be used by the Hofkafi and the Eventschüür in about 150m distance. The overnight stay in the four-poster bed includes breakfast and one e-bike per person.

Check-in: from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. / Check-out: until 10 a.m.

The e-bikes are available from 10 am on the day of arrival (cut-off time for picking up e-bikes: 11:30 am - 1 pm) until 10 am on the day of departure. Please contact the host early if you arrive after 8pm. 

Additional offers: Make your night in the four-poster bed even more unforgettable and complement your stay with a raclette or fondue party.

The bubble hotels "Himmelbett" by Thurgau Tourismus offer you the opportunity to sleep in Thurgau´s most gorgeous spots – in the midst of gardens, orchards and vineyards. High above the lake, beneath the vast canopy of the heavens. The “Himmelbett” bubble hotels can be reserved at various locations in Thurgau between April and October. Book a unique overnight stay in this exclusive accommodation and experience a bubble of joy. The overnight stay includes breakfast and one e-bike per person.  

The bubble hotel on the Hagschnurer is available from August to October and is furnished with beautiful wooden furniture by the carpentry Hugentobler AG Küche Bad Wohnen from Braunau. Sanitary facilities are located within walking distance.

The e-bikes are available from 10 am on the day of arrival (Cut-off time e-bikes pick-up: 11.30am - 1pm) until 10 am on the day of departure.

Hayloft - a special overnight experience. At the top of the barn is the hayloft room with a view of the fascinating wooden structure. You sleep directly under the large barn roof in a cozy double bed. It is possible to book additional mattresses for a maximum of two children: CHF 50 per child per night (including breakfast). In this case, please contact your host Dani Bauer (hofladen@hagschnurer.ch or by phone 079 347 05 65). You pay the surcharge directly on site. 

The toilets and showers are located in the farm shop coffee shop, two floors below the hayloft room. The following infrastructure can be used in addition to the room: Farm shop/coffee shop with terrace and fireplace room in the barn. The entire barn complex with hayloft room, farm store, coffee and sanitary infrastructure was renovated in 2019 and 2020.
