The Hoher Hirschberg inn is situated at 1167 meters above sea level and is easily accessible for hikers, bikers or by car. At the top of the hill you will be rewarded with a magnificent view of the Alpstein. The excursion restaurant is known for its home-made desserts and seasonal dishes. Spending the night on the Hoher Hirschberg is a unique experience. Various rooms with unique views of the Alpstein make your vacation a very special experience. You will find leisure activities right on the doorstep or in the surrounding area. For stays of three nights or more, we offer you the popular Appenzell vacation card and free travel to and from the hotel by public transport from anywhere in Switzerland. There are free parking spaces 200m from the guesthouse, which are reserved exclusively for our guests.
