We are situated in a slightly elevated position with a fantastic view of the mountains, surrounded by greenery. You can reach us by car in about 7 minutes from the village of Appenzell. Are you traveling by train? From the "Schwende" stop, it's about a 3-minute walk to the hotel. We are in the perfect starting point for all kinds of sporting activities in the Alpstein, a paradise for active people and connoisseurs. In the kitchen we use valuable and high-quality products from the region to spoil you with seasonal and varied dishes. We look forward to your stay with us!

Enjoy our rich breakfast buffet with regional products from 8.00 to 10.00 am.

Our à la carte restaurant is open from Wednesday to Sunday. (For hotel guests sometimes also open on Monday, please check our website)

Half board
From Wednesday to Sunday we offer a multi-course surprise menu for our hotel guests. (Partly also Monday and Tuesday, please ask)
We serve the first course from the menu between 6.00 and 6.30 pm in the dining room. Do you have allergies, intolerances or a vegetarian diet? We depend on your advance information, thank you very much!
From three nights
As a gift from us, you will receive the Appenzell Holiday Card from three consecutive overnight stays with us at the Alpenblick. Benefit from more than 20 free offers in the region, e.g. rides on the cable cars. Please let us know the first and last names of all fellow travelers aged 6 and over. Thank you very much!
Are you traveling by train and still need a ticket? If you stay three nights or more, your journey there and back home by public transport is free of charge. Would you like to take advantage of this offer? Please register with Appenzellerland Tourismus no later than 4 working days before your arrival.
