Numerous hiking trails can be reached directly from the accommodation. Particularly well known are the Ostweg, one of the oldest long-distance hiking trails in Germany, as well as the premium hiking trails and scenic routes around Schramberg. Dense forests, panoramic ridges, peaceful valleys, and stunning viewpoints make the area a paradise for hikers and nature lovers. The three castle ruins of Hohenschramberg, Falkenstein, and Schilteck are among the town's most famous landmarks. Overlooking the valley, they offer fascinating insights into the region's history and some of the most spectacular views in the central Black Forest. The historic town center, the famous Junghans industrial complex, and several museums are also well worth a visit. Thanks to its central location, many of the Black Forest's most popular destinations are within easy reach. Whether you are planning a hike, a scenic drive, a visit to the Triberg Waterfalls, or a day exploring the surrounding valleys and forests, there is something to discover in every season.
