Short Characteristics

The ibis hotel in downtown Dresden consists of 2 buildings with 612 rooms. A meeting room is available for meetings and events. In the morning, an extensive breakfast buffet awaits you. Guests can enjoy drinks around the clock at the on-site bar or Market Place. The hotel is located in the old town. Sights such as Frauenkirche or Zwinger are within walking distance. The main train station is also close and ensures a pleasant arrival and departure.

The nearby main train station is ideal for excursions. Visit Saxon Switzerland, the porcelain city of Meissen or the vineyards of Radebeul. By car, you can reach the ibis Dresden Zentrum via the A4 or A17. Access via Reitbahnstrasse. In 20 minutes you can reach the famous Semperoper. The remarkable building is located on the Theaterplatz. There you can also visit other sights such as the Dresden Castle, the Zwinger or the Old Town Guard.

Get tickets for a city tour directly at the ibis Dresden Zentrum. Here you will see all the popular sights of the city. Disembark at the monumental Frauenkirche and admire the magnificent sacred building from the inside.

Coming from the South or West (Leipzig/Chemnitz) via the A4 Motorway-> Dresden West intersection, -> A17 Dresden Südvorstadt exit, follow E55 to the centre (approx. 4 km to main station), continue traight on for approx. 1 km to Georgplatz, turn left into Dr.-Külz-Ring at the traffic lights (direction: Freital/Freiberg), straight on for approx. 500 m, turn left into Josephinenstraße at the 4th traffic lights, straight on to Reitbahnstraße car park. Navigationsystem: “Reitbahnstraße” Coming from the North or East (Berlin/Görlitz) via the A4 Motorway-> Dresden Hellerau exit, travel approx. 6 km towards the centre to Dresden Neustadt station, turn right straight after the railway bridge and follow the railway embankment (direction: Prager Straße), cross the Elbe and stay on this street for another 3.5 km. Nearing main station, remain in the right lane to avoid the underpass. Drive over the underpass to get into Reitbahnstraße with public car park. Navigation system: “Reitbahnstraße” from the airport: Commuter train connection to the train station Hauptbahnhof (Please note: use of Dresden City Card and Regio Card is possible.) From Hauptbahnhof (main station) take exit 'Prager Straße/City', walk across Wiener Platz, onto Prager Straße, straight on
