Haus Villigst

Description

Since the Second World War, Haus Villigst has been an ecclesiastical location: the Evangelische Studienwerk (1948) and the Protestant Social Welfare Office (1949) were the first ecclesiastical institutions to find a home here. Haus Villigst is a conference center of the Evangelical Church of Westphalia. Many institutes of the national church, as well as the Evangelic study work Villigst are resident. 25 different sized meeting rooms are available for events. There is space for up to 200 people. 86 guest rooms can accommodate up to 153 people. The rooms are modern and functional and have a private bathroom. Each room has internet access. The kitchen offers conference guests a wide range. All meat, poultry and sausage products come from regional farms. This also applies to eggs. For the spiritual life, a modern and architecturally interesting chapel is available.

Directions

Leave the Ruhr Valley cycle path at Bethunestraße / B236, then follow it over the Ruh bridge; turn left (southeast) on Iserlohner Straße, follow this about 900m; House Villigst is on the left side.
