Completed in 1914 and built in Wilhelminian style, the Hotel Haus Hohenstein is located in the green Ruhr Valley between Bochum, Hagen and Dortmund in one of the most beautiful recreational areas in the Ruhr area. There are a large banquet hall with a winter garden and meeting rooms available. Right next to the main building, quietly located next to the forest, is the modern furnished hotel with its 22 rooms. You will be spoiled with culinary delights in our restaurant with regional specialties and seasonal delicacies. In the afternoon, there are coffee specialties and a delicious selection of cakes in the café.
Directions
Leave the Ruhr Valley cycle path at the following place: Witten-Bommern signposting the Ruhr Valley cycle path Hohenstein. From Uferstraße turn right onto Ruhrstraße. After crossing the Ruhr, turn right into the Wetterstraße. At the miniature golf course turn left into the street Hohenstein and again left into the street Am Hammerteich. Then turn right into the first street, past the lake and then right again. Follow the road to the hotel.
