About 250 seats with the best view over the “Steinhuder Meer“
Our house was built in 1899 as an hotel - the “Strandhotel“. Because of that the gates were opened for tourism in Steinhude.
From 1945 to 1952 the object was occupied by English - allies and it has been burned down to its foundation in this time.
After rebuilding it in 1986 it was reopened as the restaurant “Strandterrassen Steinhude“.
Since 1998 the restaurant belongs to the family Lampe.
Our new Winter garden serves, particularly for wedding parties, birthday parties and every banquette–event, the ideal location. While enjoying our culinary delicacies you enjoy the sunset above the Steinhuder Meer.
