Vacation on the farm at Lake Waginger. Finally vacation on a real farm! The Peterkainhof has been family owned for more than 500 years and we are proud of this tradition. Milk and grain, hay and straw, meadows and forest - you can smell it, you can feel the roots... There you are simply at home! "Go out: now it's different than at home. Now it's relaxing without a break... The head is empty - the soul is full. We fill up with peace. Wonderful!" These beautiful words were sent to us by a guest after a repeated stay at the Peterkainhof. We cannot formulate our goal any better! We want you to enjoy nature, switch off and relax. You are very close to Lake Waginger! Your vacation will be varied, diverse and idyllic. The small village between the Alps and the lake is a true vacation paradise in summer and winter. At the farm you will spend your vacation in beautiful vacation apartments with a wonderful view of nature and Lake Waginger. In just a few minutes you can reach the lido by bike, or you can walk around the lovely lake with the whole family. With us, every member of the family spends a carefree vacation. The parents relax under the walnut tree, while the children have fun on the soccer field, the trampoline, with the children's vehicles or with table tennis. All this is watched by the grandparents from the vacation apartments, as each has a balcony overlooking the garden. Farmer's wife Christa will gladly introduce you to the vast knowledge of herbalism during a herb hike. As a certified herbal educator, she can tell you a lot about the effects and processing of wild herbs. And old farmer Nikolaus shows you the work processes in animal husbandry and land management, he is a farmer with passion. As a trained culture and landscape guide, he leads you through the wild and romantic Schönramer Filz, and safely through the old town of Salzburg. Anyone who wants to ride along on the tractor, or watch milking, sticks to Klaus, he is the boss of the farm, and in constant use. Together with Maria, who is very involved, the well-being of the guests is a matter of the heart.

Arrival Description
By train: Traunstein - Waging or Teisendorf - Freilassing. Car: A 8 freeway - Munich/Salzburg - exit Traunstein/Siegsdorf, left direction Traunstein until traffic circle, there the second exit after tunnel right direction Waging. In Waging at the traffic circle take the 2nd exit and after approx. 300 m turn right onto the state road 2104Direction Petting. In Quellgrund turn right and immediately left - then straight on and after approx. 400 m turn left.
