"We were extremely disappointed, starting from the check in where we had to struggle with the receptionist to accept to store our fridge box in a cold spot in the kitchen , even though we had up front called the hotel a. gotten the confirmation that there would be no problem . Then the pre ordered shaving kit was not in the room , the receptionist basically just said .. tough luck .. a. the cleanliness in the room was definitely not worth a 4 star hotel .. "It was thoroughly disappointed, especially considering I’ve had positive experiences with other branches. We travel a lot with my family and as a member of Accor this hotel is very different. This particular location is in desperate need of attention. The cleanliness was seriously lacking — from the bed that is smelly, we already asked if they can changed the sheet of the bed, but no. We comeback with the same sheet. The kettle that is not clean, fridge that is absolutely dirt. Dusty blower and tv cabinet . The overall maintenance of the property is equally concerning, with broken fixtures and a generally rundown feel that made the stay uncomfortable. The AC was not running correct. It’s a shame because other branches of this hotel have been well-maintained and pleasant. Unfortunately, this location falls far short of those standards."

"Room was clean and nice Breakfast was good for the price, but on more loaded days it was a bit of a problem to find a table. The location is very good for traveling to the area of stuttgart. Highly recommend Rosental friebad (public pool) in summer days. For the pool, it’s great it’s indoor and it’s in an OK size. However: Towel situation is really unclear and when we came after dinner there were always no towels. So you needed to go to the reception to get one. No one from the hotel came to check on it for hours, if at all. Also the water might need some more cleaning, and weirdly there is no “gutters” to get water and dirt going out of the pool. The Sauna is really unclear when it’s working and not. Apparently you need to ask reception, which makes 0 sense when you are in your swimsuit. Or have to leave your children unattended in the pool."

"First of all, I would like to say that I actually like staying at your hotel. But this time, unfortunately, it was a disaster. The air conditioning in my room didn't work. In the end it was only a slight ventilation but no cooling. I stayed at your hotel for three nights. On the first day, I was told at reception that the air conditioning was controlled centrally via an external sensor. There was nothing they could do, but they already had several complaints, they told me. After the second day (after outside temperatures of over 30°) they told me that this was not normal and sent a technician. Unfortunately, this had no effect. When I checked out, I found out that the technician had discovered that the air conditioning wasn't working. He changed something (supposedly) and it should work. Unfortunately, it did not. On the third day I was told that unfortunately there was no other room available because the hotel was fully booked. The result was three nights in a totally overheated room. Unfortunately, it was almost impossible to sleep. I wish that this mistake had been dealt with more "aggressively" and hope that I will be given a room with working air conditioning next time. I will at least point this out explicitly."

"The main reason for the stay was to relax as family and enjoy the pool. This was unfortunately closed due to some ongoing issues. The restaurant that everyone gave great reviews to has a very limited choice of food But I do want to mention that Denis (Server in restaurant) has exceptional customer service and he even made our sons mango juice really fancy -like the adult options. The staff were really lovely and helpful, rooms were super clean and the breakfast was good. The overall rating though is simply because our family weekend away was not possible. For others travelling by car and looking for a great hotel this would be a great option."

"My wife came to visit with me for a week. During her stay housekeeping didn’t knock before entering the room on her while she was in the restroom. It was very unprofessional and left my wife feeling unsafe. This happened outside of the designated cleaning times. That means they had zero reasoning for entering my room at all. No matter the situation they need to knock and announce who they are before entering anyone’s room. For me, the room is my home while I’m working in Germany. I should feel safe and secure in my home and it needs to be respected as such."

"A conveniently located stopover on our way to the Alps. Positives: onsite restaurant, swimming pool, parking (although high charge for open-air uncovered parking), excellent breakfast, clean, well-maintained in general. Negatives: high parking fee for what it is; insufficient staff and planning at breakfast so queues built up quickly waiting for refilling of food on offer and the tables were not cleaned up promptly; automated reminders were too much (one would have been enough) and in German, which was not useful for us non-German speakers."

"Booking was easy with special offer provided by the representative. Room was clean and cleaned on a regular basis. Breakfast was extremely rich and versatile. I missed a gym in the place. I would consider having one. Parking is 14 euro per day, which is outrageous. Front desk personnel can clearly guide you to parking in the main road. The shaving kit which was promised on the website didn't resemble the real one which was received. Checkout was quick and easy."
