Our comfort double rooms are between 25 and 35 m2 large and equipped with a double bed with two mattresses (180x200cm) and a private bathroom with hair dryer, shower (or bathtub), and WC. Furthermore, all comfort double rooms are equipped with an air conditioner, attractive wooden floors, and have a winter garden or are located on the top floor with a balcony. All comfort double rooms are located in the converted barn and were newly built as part of the 2015/2016 renovations.
Possible occupation: 1-2 persons
Single room
The single rooms are between 15 and 17 m2 large and equipped with a single bed (100 or 140x200 cm). Each of the private bathrooms have a shower and hair dryer. The rooms have carpeted floors and are equipped with a desk and flat-screen satellite TV. The single rooms are predominantly located in the main house and were at least partially renovated as part of the 2015/2016 renovations.

Standard double room
Our standard double rooms are between 18 and 22 m2 large and equipped with a doublem bed with two mattresses (min. 160, max. 180x200cm) in addition to a private bathroom with hair dryer, shower, and WC. The rooms have carpeted floors and are equipped with a desk and flat-screen satellite TV. The standard double rooms are predominantly located in the main building and were at least partially renovated as part of the 2015/2016 renovations.

Superior double room
Our superior double rooms are between 39 and 45 m2 large and some are divided into two separable rooms. They are equipped with a double bed (min. 180, max. 200x200cm) in addition to a private bathroom with hair dryer, shower, and WC. A selection of superior double rooms is also equipped with a kitchenette and air conditioner. Some have also a winter garden with an outdoor terrace. A number of the superior double rooms were newly built as part of the 2015/2016 renovations and are located in both the main house and the converted barn.

Favorably located between nature and the town, Hotel Krone reopened in 2016 after extensive renovations. The historic barn where horses were once bred more than 225 years ago is now home to romantic hotel rooms and suites, each complete with thoughtful details that keep the barn and its memories alive today. Our close proximity to the center of Kirchzarten allows our guests to enjoy the nearby shops, restaurants, and excellent transportation connections. On the other hand, our hotel also offers a picturesque view of the Black Forest, the ideal place for hiking, mountain biking, and other outdoor excursions.
Check-in and check-out regulation
Please contact the hotel in advance to discuss the time of your arrival. Check-in is possible as of 2 pm, check-out until 11:30 am.
Directions
Arriving by car: Take the A5 and exit at "Freiburg Mitte". From there, take B31 towards Donaueschingen until you reach Kirchzarten. Alternately, you can take the A81 until you reach Donaueschingen; from there, take B31 to Kirchzarten. Turn onto Hauptstraße once you've reached the town center. Arriving by train: Kirchzarten has a train station that is very close to the hotel. You can reach the hotel from there in just 10 minutes on foot. You can also reach the hotel in just 3 minutes by taking bus number 271 towards Adler, Oberried. Upon arrival, our guests receive the KONUS card for the complimentary use of regional busses and trains.
Differing cancellation conditions
The guest can cancel free of charge until 2 days before arrival. The guest will be charged 90% of the price of the reservation if they cancel in the 2 days before arrival.
