You are staying in the border triangle of Germany, France, and Switzerland: the Swiss border is about 10 km away, France about 15 km. Local direct sellers offer bread, rolls, baked goods, eggs, cheese, potatoes, sausage, seasonal vegetables, as well as a milk station in the village.
