Since its reopening in June 2017, the historic Renthof Kassel has housed a modern city hotel with exclusive gastronomy, bar and several individual event locations. With us you can celebrate with your family and friends or organize a conference in an extraordinary ambience with modern conference technology.

For this contemporary use, the building, originally built in 1298 as a Carmelite monastery, was completely renovated in accordance with the preservation of the architecture and history of the house.

Today, the house offers a unique atmosphere, which is characterized by the interplay of the historical basic elements and the modern design of the interior, which was individually and carefully selected by the owners for each area of the building.

By train

From Wilhelmshöhe train station you can take a taxi less than 15 minutes to the Renthof. Alternatively, take tram 3, 4 or 7 towards the Altmarkt stop. If you get off at the Altmarkt you walk only a few steps towards the central intersection and from there you will see the prominent Brüderkirche opposite, behind which the Renthof Hotel is directly adjacent.
