When the Orient Express stopped in Porrentruy

Our guide will meet you at the station and accompany you to the former Grand Hôtel International. Like the travellers of yesteryear, your route will take you through streets lined with magnificent villas as you discover the painted façades and Art Nouveau dEcor of these old houses and symbols of the splendour of the Belle Epoch in Porrentruy. When you reach the hotel, you’ll be greeted by mouldings, parquet floors and painted ceilings. A journey back to a time when aristocrats, bourgeois burghers and bandits gathered in Porrentruy.

Upon request, you can book the following activities:

- Visit to the pharmacy of the Musée de l’Hôtel-Dieu
> CHF 20.00 if the visit takes place during museum opening hours, i.e. from Tuesday to Sunday, 2-5 pm.
> CHF 40.00 if the visit takes place outside museum opening hours

- Tasting aperitif (air-dried sausage, bacon, cheese, toétché, Ajoie bread, white and red wine, apple juice, mineral water): CHF 10.00 per person

- Dinner aperitif (air-dried sausage, bacon, cheese, toétché, Ajoie bread, white and red wine, apple juice, mineral water, coffee, pastries): CHF 20.00 per person
