Freundlicher Empfang an der Rezeption des Hotels HYPERION. Gute Bedienung beim Empfangscoctail. Zimmer 204 mit schönem Ausblick. Trotz einiger Hotel-Erfahrung wieder etwas Neues gesehen. Angenehm in der Sauna. Gut, dass man im Bademantel ´runterfahren kann. Zum Frühstück reichhaltiges Angebot und aufmerksame Bedienung.

So weit war alles ok großes Zimmer Ausstattung ok.

Für ein 5 Sterne Haus keine Hausschuhe vorhanden auch das Betriebssystem war nicht ok Matrazen viel zu weich bei jeder Bewegung wackelte das ganze Bett.

Schöne Zimmer, allerdings löste sich bereits das Wandtattoo von der Wand. Die Sauna ist sehr schön. Der Barkeeper war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Wir hatten das Hotel im Rahmen der Aktion "Urlaub in Deiner Stadt" für 49 € pro Person zzgl. Beherbergungssteuer gebucht. Offenbar ist der Herr an der Rezeption davon ausgegangen, dass es nur 29 € pro Person gekostet hat, jedenfalls hat er uns so behandelt. Oder ist er eventuell zu allen Gästen so arrogant? Wichtig war für ihn eigentlich nur, dass ich sofort eine Sicherheitsleistung in Höhe von 50 € hinterlege, da ich keine Kreditkarte habe. Informationen zum Beispiel zu Frühstückszeiten, Sauna, Auschecken, Bar, Lage des Frühstücksraum, Internet o. Ä. erfolgten leider nicht, lediglich eine Beschreibung, wo sich das Zimmer befindet. Auf dem Zimmer bemerkten wir, dass das Kabelfernsehen und -radio nicht funktioniert. Eine Nachfrage an der Rezeption ergab ein: "Ach, das haben wir Ihnen ja gar nicht gesagt. Durch den gestrigen Sturm funktioniert kein Kabelfernsehen. Der Techniker ist dran." Wir gingen dann in die Sauna, um uns die Zeit bis zum Abendessen zu vertreiben. Als wir gegen 17 Uhr ins Zimmer zurückkamen, funktionierte leider immer noch kein Fernsehen und Radio, so dass wir ca. eine Stunde in totaler Stille auf unserem Zimmer verbrachten, was nicht gerade einer Wohlfühlatmosphäre entspricht. Kurz nach 18 Uhr, als wir zum Abendessen gingen, funktionierte das Kabelfernsehen und -radio immer noch nicht, erst dann bei einer Rückkehr gegen 21 Uhr. Das Frühstück war für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel wirklich enttäuschend. Keine besonderen Sachen, alles "0815". Alles in allem herausgeworfene 100 € für eine Nacht in einem Zimmer, in welchem zeitweise weder Radio noch TV funktionierten und ein eher mittelmäßiges Frühstück. Dabei sollte es ein besonderer Abend/Vormittag in einem Hotel unserer Heimatstadt sein, war es leider nicht.
