"The hotel is well located to the airport. Check in was slow and understaffed. This was equally true of the dinner service at the restaurant. I had to go find someone to seat me. The rooms are nice and clean, modern. However the thermostat is clearly just a decoration. My room was so hot I had trouble sleeping. This with the thermostat set to the lowest possible setting"

"I’ve been staying at the Mövempick hotel Stuttgart Airport every time I’m in Stuttgart. The customer service is excellent and so is the location. It’s a 1 min walk to the Airport terminal. The Buffett is amazing. Parking is very convenient. It’s underground and you can take the elevator to the parking structure. Rooms are up to date and clean. Definitely the best hotel to stay near the airport."

"The room we were assigned had at least 10 meters of (curved) windows that caused the room to heat up during the day. We checked in early afternoon and attempted to get the Air Conditioning going so that the room would be comfortable when we returned after dinner since we needed to bed down early because of an early departure the next morning. This was the over-riding reason for selecting the hotel; so that we could be sure we loud get to the airport in time. We called the reception desk to make sure we understood how to set the uninformative dial on the thermostat (it had a + and a - but nothing else). It was unclear which way the dial should be positioned. Following what we understood to be the directions, we set the dial to what we believed would be maximum cooling. I took a photo of the thermostat and as we departed I showed the photo to the front desk staff and they confirmed the positioning. When we returned following dinner, anticipating a cool room, we were dismayed to find the room still too warm to comfortably sleep. We called down to the front desk and complained. They had a housekeeping staff member come to our room. Unfortunately, she did not speak/understand English, but we finally communicated that the room was too hot and we wanted it cooler. She then went to the thermostat and rotated the dial to the OPPOSITE position!! The Air Conditioning did (finally) begin to put out some cooler air; however, it was too little, too late! We spent and uncomfortable night without getting the sound rest we needed to be ready for a very long day flying home to the west coast of the USA."

"We stayed here because of an early flight the next morning. For convenience, the location can’t be beat. However, we encountered several matters of concern. An unpleasant odor (plumbing?) permeated the foyer and the hall to our room. Our bathroom soap dispenser was empty. The bed was uncomfortably made with a thick presumably waterproof mattress protector. Neighbors were noisy throughout the night."

"Our entire stay here was great. They first accommodated us with an early (4 hrs early) check-in with a great room. The breakfast is awesome. And this is one of the cleanest hotels we've stayed at in a long time. Being able to walk to the airport is a plus too."
