The Kastens Hotel Luisenhof is located in the city center of Hanover. The main railway station is just a jump away and you can reach the airport and exhibition center in lightning speed with the high speed rail. It is also just a few minutes' walk from restaurants, theatres shops and cafes. The 149 rooms and suites of the Kastens Hotel Luisenhof Hanover have been elegantly and individually designed to provide unique spaces. In Restaurant MARY`s International meals are elaborately served and regional cuisine is always specially created for you. In 12 conference rooms you will find everything that you need for the perfect presentations and conferences, which is what makes events unforgettable. The hotel boasts a roof top fitness center with steam room, spa and sauna where guests can unwind after a busy day.

Conditions/extras

From 1 January 2024, the state capital of Hanover will levy an accommodation tax (according to the accommodation tax statute BehStS) which is not included in the price.

Directions

By air or rail

From Hannover Airport Terminal use S-Bahn S 5 (Metro) to Main Staition (appx. 15 min. ride). Leave the station at EXIT Ernst-August-Platz (west side of building). Walk left towards the Luisenstrasse. After approx. 150 m you´ll find the KASTENS HOTEL LUISENHOF on the left hand side.

By car you will reach us coming from  North (Hamburg):

Drive A7 Motorway to junction Hannover Nord (Hannover North, Exit 53, west). Follow A 352 until exit no. 3. Turn right at the second exit (Hannover-Nord, Messe, Langenhagen) on B 522 in left lane (south), wich will end in the Vahrenwalder Strassse. Follow this road in the direction Zentrum(south). At the end of the road use left lane (at the CONTINENTAL AG Building) after appx. 200 meters turn left into Hamburger Strasse (south east), follow the sign Stadtmitte (city centre). Head the Hamburger Strasse and also the road bridge. At the end of the bridge use the right lane and follow the traffic sign to the Oper (opera) and then turn right (west) into the Königstraße. Follow the street until its end (back side of the opera) turn right and again right into the Luisenstrasse. On your right hand side you will find KASTENS HOTEL LUISENHOF. 

West and East  (Dortmund / Berlin):

Drive A2 motorway (east / west). Use exit no. 44 (Hannover/ Langenhagen, Zentrum). Follow signs to Hannover Zentrum. Now you will reach the Vahrenwalder Strasse. Follow this road in the direction Zentrum(south). At the end of the road use left lane (at the CONTINENTAL AG Building) after appx. 200 meters turn left into Hamburger Strasse (south east), follow the sign Stadtmitte (city centre). Head the Hamburger Strasse and also the road bridge. At the end of the bridge use the right lane and follow the traffic sign to the Oper (opera) and then turn right (west) into the Königstraße. Heading the street until its end (back side of the opera) turn right and again right into the Luisenstrasse. On your right hand side you will find KASTENS HOTEL LUISENHOF. 

South (Kassel, Frankfurt/ Main):

Drive A 7 until junction Hannover Süd (south). Leave A7 at exit no. 60 and follow A 37 (north-west). This road will change no. into B6/B3. Follow this road. Leave B6/B3 at the exit Pferdeturm/ Stadtmitte. Head the ramp by using the left lane. At the end of the ramp turn left into Hans-Böckler-Allee. Follow the street ahead. This street will change name into Marienstrasse, which you will heading until its end. Use right lane and turn then half right into Georgsstraße. Follow this street. At the opera building the street will make a curve right behind the building. Please use here the left lane and turn right at the third junction into the Luisenstrasse. On your right hand side you will find KASTENS HOTEL LUISENHOF.

Spürbar sehr hochwertige Ausstattung im Zimmer- angefangen beim Teppich über die Handtücher bis hin zu den Möbeln. Frühstück war herausragend in Qualität der Speisen und Freundlichkeit des Service.

Alle Angestellte waren sehr freundlich und offen, gleichzeitig aber selbstbewußt. Es entstand sofort eine persönliche Verbundenheit. Nach dem Abendessen, was fanden wir? Im Zimmer waren die Vorhänge zugezogen, unsere Hausschuhe standen auf einer klienen Vorlage vor dem Bett - ein noch nie erlebter Service.

Ein tolles Hotel in bester Lage mit absolut freundlichem Personal, tolle Zimmer. Insgesamt sehr gediegene Atmosphäre.

Die Bar ist sehr klein und beengt, aber das ist räumlich nicht anders zu lösen und kann daher keine echte Kritik sein. Ebenso der fehlende Pool.

Sehr freundliches Personal Leckeres, umfangreiches Frühstück (auch gut markiert, was sich wo befindet) Sehr schön angerichtetes Rührei.# schöner, heller Frühstücksraum. Ich persönlich habe mich gefreut über die Faller Marmelade, weil das aus meiner Heimatgegend kommt. Toll wäre noch ein eher dunkleres Brot gewesen, aber wir sind auf jeden Fall satt geworden und nicht jedem kann und muss man ja seine Spezialwünsche erfüllen.

Im Fitnessraum hätten wir uns ein Ruderergometer gewünscht. Zimmereinrichtung schon etwas älter, Bad aber sehr schön.

Lage des Hotels.

Dusche nur in der Badewanne. Wasser lief schlecht ab, sodass ich bis zum Knöchel im Wasser stand. Der Kosmetikspiegel konnte nicht verstellt werden, die Beleuchtung ging ebenfalls nicht. Die Kosmetiktücher-Box war leer. Der Föhn schaltete sich nach einer Minute immer wieder ab. Der Spiegel im Flur war in „Bauchhöhe“ angebracht. Von dem Frühstück hatte ich für ein 5Sterne-Haus mehr erwartet.

Die gesamte Atmosphäre des Hotels ist sehr gut. Ein Ort um abzuschalten.

Der Service des Frühstücks war dieses Mal sehr schlecht. Wir verbrachten sehr viel Zeit mit Warten auf bestimmte Speisen. Das war sehr schade. Das Personal war mit der Anzahl der Gäste gnadenlos überfordert.

Da es eine Verwechslung mit den Reisedaten gab, durften meine Begleitung und ich in die Pianosuite. Das Personal am Empfang war absolut freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Damen und Herren haben sich mitgefreut über das Upgrade und am nächsten Tag gleich nachgefragt, wie der Aufenthalt war. Der Ärger darüber, dass die Buchung falsch notiert wurde, kam so überhaupt nicht auf. Die Räumlichkeiten des Hotels sind bezaubernd schön und die Fitnessräume eröffnen dem Gast einen Blick über Hannover.

Das Frühstücksbuffet war weniger reichhaltig als erwartet. Auch zögerte sich das Heranbringen neuer Speisen, nachdem die alten verbraucht waren, ungewöhnlich lange hin. Auf süße Teilchen, Rührei u.ä. musste so gewartet werden. Das Zimmer und das Frühstück waren sehr gut. Nachdem die Fehler behoben worden. Es war schön, dass das nach Nachfrage auch sofort erledigt wurde.

(-) What did you not like?

Sehr enttäuscht waren wir, dass unser Zimmer bei der Ankunft noch nicht fertig war. Der Boden war nicht gesaugt ( man sah deutlich mehrere Fussabdrücke, auch barfuss!!! auf dem Teppichboden. Auch die Minibar enthielt nur eine Colaflasche und war noch nicht wieder aufgefüllt worden. Da unser Aufenthalt nur für eine Übernachtung war, war das sehr ärgerlich, da nachfragen zu müssen. Bei 5 Sternen hätten wir nicht damit gerechnet.

Das r.enovierte Zimmer war sehr schön, ebenso war das Frühstück gut.

Der Service,wir haben abends gegessen, war nicht gut, nicht professionell.Ebenso der Service beim Frühstück am nächsten Tag. Junge Kellner die längere Zeit nicht sahen, das etwas abgeräumt werden musste, nicht aufmerksam waren. Keine Ahnung vom Tee haben, ebeno der Supervisor. Der Service ist eindeutig mit besserem Personal zu besetzen.

Großzügige Zimmer, die individuell und geschmackvoll eingerichtet sind. Sehr freundlicher und unaufdringlicher Service. Im Gegensatz zu anderen Hotels macht der Luisenhof einen sehr persönlichen Eindruck, man muss sich einfach wohlfühlen.

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, das Frühstück sensationell, der Service freundlich und hilfsbereit

Das Zimmer war definitiv überhitzt und trotz Beschwede konnte man den Fehler kurzfristig nicht bereinigen deshalb war unser Schlaf nicht wirklich entspannt.
