"In general it’s good but the towels supplied and the pillow cases were smelling .. it’s the smell of not dried well or from washing mechine .. It’s good if a restaurent is in hotel for dinner . Breakfast was very good , variety of bread needs improving."

"Overall, the stopover we had on the way home from vacation was good. The hotel is near an Autobahn exit and easy to reach by car, there is ample parking at the nearby indoor parking. You can find several charging spots for your hybrid or EV car in the area. Other positives: The room was clean, the bed comfortable, air conditioning worked well and the bathroom was perfectly in order for a refreshing night. The breakfast buffet was also satisfying with a nice selection of cold cuts, cheeses, cereal, yoghurt, eggs and even a pancake machine. Negatives: - The walls of the room showed a lot of scuffs and marks from previous guests. That made the room feel old and worn. A new coat of paint is needed to remove that impression. - Since the hotel has no restaurant, you need to calculate at least 15 minutes on foot to the city centre of Vaihingen if you want to eat out in the evening."

"The staff was super friendly, clean and inviting.. There are some points they need to work on, but I would stay here again. Our first room smelled of wet dog. And our second room, the hvac didn't work well.. thank god I travel with a small ventilator. Breakfast was great.. For the price... Not that bad..."

"The hotel is in a good location, a business block quiet and safe. It is close to the s-bahn, but when we were there it was closed for mainteinance, unfortunately. The rooms are simple (spartan) but comfortable and well insulated (no noise); the batrooms are new and well done. Personnel was very friendly, and the breakfast was fantastic. Two little downsides: the room temperature was too hot, and the carpet was a bit stained - a periodic thorough clean is needed with these carpets."

"We were 2 adults and 2 children, we have a special familly offer 1 room full price, 1 room half price ; 2 rooms were connected by doors ; and only 2 breakfast were charged on 4. There is a securized parking (12 €) but you can park your car in the street it is free. You can walk 500 m to reach an area with restaurants."

"The hotel is well located, not too far from the train station, walking distance from the shopping center and close to many offices. It's a great place to crash, not too expensive with clean rooms and friendly staff. No bells and whistles in the rooms, but I just need them to sleep, so they are perfectly adequate for a quick business trip."

"The hotel room was nice and we had connected rooms. Unfortunately my wife got ill and with finding options to go to a hospital in the middle of the night there was no good information that could be given to us on doctors in the neighbourhood. I recommend you prepare this documentation upfront in cases of emergencies.Furthermore the hotel is run by pretty much one person who cannot do all. What if something happens to this person.. There is no backup then.. I find this very odd for a chain like Ibis to go with this and not help the local staff more."

"Nice hotel for a business stay in the South of Stuttgart.You notice staff shortages, like everywhere, there is no more food on offer except pizza and you have to wait for drinks at the bar. For the online check-in, I pre-authorize my credit card, but each time I am charged at check-in... which means for a couple of days, I am debited twice and have to wait for the credit."

"1. Wenn we arrive at the hotel as the room was not ready and it was no time to check in we decided to go to the city. As we didn't know how to get there we asked the front desk. It would have been very nice if he had had explained us the way where and which direction to go. And how to get to the citycentre. We had to ask the people outside about the way. There are two possibilities either to take underground or city train both on the different directions. But the staff member was looking a little bit boring unfortunatelly and had absolutely no mood to explain. We had to manage all by ourselves. 2. As we wanted to eat in the evening and decided to order pizza we asked again front desk how to do it and where to order . She(he) said that we cat take booklet and self find out how to do it because she(he) was only responsible for front desk and had no time for us nevertheless she(he) was doing nothing. I think when you work there as front desk member it is your responsibility kindly to explain what the customer wants!! Kindly and friendly and maybe a little smile on the face!! I had a feeling that the staff is a little bit boring and had absolutely no mood for the questions. 3.The woman who stands in the morning at the breakfast room comes to evey table separate and asks about room number. Its a little bit awkward in the middle of cowing the food. As we noticed it was the same uncomfortable situation with the other guests. She runs the whole breakfasttime around the room. 4. When the bathroom is so small it would be good when opening door it goes outside and not inside. We hat a room with connected doors. Here also would be good that the doors have stoppers when you open them that they hold open and don't close in seconds. 5.Booking via telephone for the first time with a girl was very much ok. As we had to rebook it we called again the hotel. Now was the other staff member which was rude and absolutely not friendly (this was the same girl(boy) with the pizza ordering). She spoke with us like we were in debt with her. The room service woman didn't greeted us. I think the staff needs a little bit schooling. Such experience we never had in ibis hotels."

"Hotel is located right next to Stuttgart-Vaihingen rail station, convenient for commute to Stuttgart-proper or Leinfelden-Echterdingen, for example. Quiet surrounding area, uncluttered room (twin-bed double) -- no minifridge, minimal open wardrobe/shelf, small desk in an alcove. Some people might want a bit more space for their clothes, but I travel light, so that was not an issue. Everything else was unnoticeably functional. And the pancake maker in the dining area! :) Again, if one plans to spend the days elsewhere and rest for the nights, the place was perfect."
