Check-in 3.00 pm/ Check-out 11.00 am. How to get there - by train: From the railway station, walk along the Bahnhofstrasse to Postplatz, turn left and continue to the first roundabout, turn right and after 20 metres you will find the hotel. By car: Take the "Chur Nord" motorway exit, continue along Masanserstrasse for approx. 2 km, turn into the Old Town, the Hotel Stern is on the left.

"What an amazing place! Stern has easily become my favourite hotel in Switzerland. Every little touch, atmosphere, quality and service were absolutely perfect and I can't wait to visit Chur again! "Very good at breakfast and desk. One day we tried to have lunch in courtyard and told it was full even though we saw empty tables. We were not sloppily dressed or anything. Disappointed. As for the restaurant, it is a perfect choice for tasting specialties and wine from Graubunden The little limitations due to the ancient architecture of the building are widely compensated by the warmth and the care with which each room is individually furnished: each room is an individual variation of the same theme: wood and swiss tradition. The possibility of choosing different levels of rooms is wide, and even the simplest single rooms are very comfortable. "Overall, I had a wonderful and comfortable stay at your hotel. The location was ideal, the room was excellent, and I truly enjoyed my time there. I would love to return in the future! Excellent Service and Delicious Graubünden specialities! The dishes are rich in flavour and tradition, though they might feel a bit heavy for some Japanese stomachs. Thankfully, there’s the flexibility to choose à la carte for a lighter option! But, it was great! The service was lovely, and the atmosphere was very quiet and relaxing. However, accessing the rooftop rooms via stairs might be challenging for elderly guests with large suitcases. For breakfast, I would suggest offering a buffet-style service instead of pre-plated meals, giving guests more options to choose from. That said, everything was impeccably clean and well-maintained, making the stay enjoyable overall. The room is well-equipped, and the inclusion of bathtubs is especially appreciated by Japanese guests, as soaking in a bath is a cherished tradition, particularly for the elderly. Highlighting such features is important when promoting the hotel to Japanese retired tourists, who value comfort and cultural familiarity during their travels! A charming atmosphere that reflects the rich history and culture of the area."

"The room and amenities were excellent. The staff at reception and at breakfast were very friendly and helpful. The gift of chocolates travelled with us for the rest of our trip as a reminder of the lovely night in your hotel. The availability of European and international sockets for electrical devices was also good. As the first night in our Swiss holiday, this was a lovely introduction. Reception and breakfast room staff were very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent quality. Many choices to start the day. Enjoyed the wooden doors and the large room key. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The lift was an added delight. Large room which was very clean . Bathroom amenities were excellent,. Kettle with tea and coffee facilities was great, but no bar fridge may impact on a longer stay than one night. Genteel and friendly atmosphere with Swiss tradition as its base."

"Combine charm, understated elegance, perfect location in the old town, and friendly staff = Hotel Stern Chur. I loved walking everywhere, including the stunning churches and art museum. Easy stroll to the train station (starting point for the Bernina Express train - glorious - and so many other nearby destinations.) The sumptuous breakfast starts early enough that you can enjoy that before setting out. I had a delicious dinner in the charming restaurant, with Swiss specialties in an authentic Swiss atmosphere. The guest rooms have every convenience -- and yet are cozy. This hotel is a gem!"
