Short Characteristics

Our small hotel is located at the southern periphery of Dresden in the village of Bannewitz. It is only a 10 minute drive away from the center of the capital of Saxony, although you will still have a feeling as if you were in the country.

The house is located on a small hill near the Nöthnitz Castle.

If the weather is good enough you can see the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. Our large property (approx. 5000 sqm) with its welcoming garden invites you to relax after a turbulent day in the city.

Thanks to a convenient transport connection (bus station 5 min away, motorway 5 min away) you can quickly reach the center of Dresden as well as the surroundings.

Start your day with a luscious breakfast. We get our handmade bread fresh every day from the bakery in our village, provide eggs from our own hens, offer homemade jam and much more, including our traditional Sunday cake.

By car from the motorway
Coming from the A4 motorway, take the A17 towards Prague at “Dreieck Dresden-West”, take the exit “Dresden-Südvorstadt” and turn right at the traffic light onto the B170 towards Bannewitz. At the next traffic light after about 100m turn left and right away left again. After about 100m, turn right onto the street Rosentitzer Strasse and right away left onto the street Nöthnitzer Hang. Then follow the signs, and after about 100m you will have reached the hotel.


By car from the city of Dresden:
Take the B170 south (past the main train station, towards the university or Prague) and leave the city of Dresden, driving past Fritz-Löffler-Strasse, Bergstrasse, passing the university area and Innsbrucker Strasse. After you have passed two traffic lights (Entries to the A17) turn left at the next traffic light towards Bannewitz, right away turn left, then after about 100m turn right into the street Rosentitzer Strasse and right away turn left into the street Nöthnitzer Hang. Then follow the signs until you reach the hotel (about 100m).


By public transportation:
Take the RVD bus line 360 from the main train station (“Unter den Brücken” station) towards Possendorf/Dippoldiswalde/Zinnwald, get off at the station “Bannewitz-Nöthnitz” (after about 12 min), cross the street at the traffic light and walk about 100m to the left until you see a stone column. Turn right and right away to the left onto the street “Nöthnitzer Hang”. Follow the signs until you reach the hotel (from the bus station it is a 5-10 minute walk)



By bicycle

Distance 4km, uphill

Coming from Dresden main train station take the bikeway across the B170 (Fritz-Löffler-Strasse) until you pass the university area and until you reach the top of the hill (Südhöhe, Bergstrasse). Now change to the bikeway at the left side of the street and cycle downhill until you reach Dresden Kaitz (Possendorfer Strasse). Take this street and the following bikeway, cycle uphill and cross the motorway bridge until you reach a stone column. Then you turn to the left into the street Nöthnitzer Hang. Follow the signs until you reach the hotel (approx. 100m).


Alternatively, you can take the bus line 360 from Dresden main train station towards Possendorf/Dippoldiswalde/Zinnwald, get off at the station Bannewitz-Nöthnitz, cross the street and cycle behind the noise barrier until you reach a stone column. Then you turn right and right away to the left onto the street Nöthnitzer Hang, follow the signs until you reach the hotel.
