Description

In the heart of Upper Bavaria, located between Munich, Salzburg and Kufstein, stands one of the most beautiful houses in Upper Bavaria. Built in 1752, the Schusterhäusl stands as the center of the village square of Törwang, a small but charming Upper Bavarian village on the Samerberg. The rich facade decoration dates back to 1794. In 2014, the extensive restoration work on the exterior facade was completed. The interior of the Schusterhäusl was modernized in 2018 with high quality and true to style, with great attention to detail and to the historical background. The Schusterhäusl enchants not only by its charm, but also by the unique location in the middle of the tranquil village square with the village fountain belonging to the house. Törwang was already awarded years ago as the most beautiful village of Upper Bavaria. Experience Schusterhäusl - individual, cozy and charming. All apartments have a natural stone bathroom with rain shower and fluffy towels, wood paneling, oak floors, king-size box-spring beds and much more!

Environment description

Die malerische und abwechslungsreiche Naturlandschaft des Samerberger Hochtals sowie die umliegenden Alpengipfel mit ihren schönen Almen zum Einkehren bieten zu jeder Jahreszeit ideale Möglichkeiten zum Naturgenuß. Tradition und alpenländische Kutur genießen hier noch einen hohen Stellenwert.

About the host

Das Schusterhäusl ist seit Jahrhunderten im Besitz meiner Familie. Auch ich bin hier großgeworden, lebe allerdings schon lange der Liebe wegen in Wiesbaden. Ich bin nach dem Tod meines Mannes nun wieder glücklich verheiratet und stolze Mutter von zwei mittlerweile erwachsenen Söhnen.

Nach dem meine Eltern, Hans und Yvonne Pallauf, gestorben waren, machte ich es mir zur Aufgabe, den Innenbereich des von mir so heiß geliebten Schmuckstücks aufwändig und mit viel Hingabe zu renovieren. Nun sind die Türen offen für meine Gäste.
